The turnout in Chicago was wonderful and as I'm meeting my ....KOLA FANS....for the first time, I'm ever more exasperated by their love for me, their understanding and their enthusiasm. In both Chicago and Detroit...Black American MEN (in surprisingly HUGE numbers) and WOMEN turned out for me...to hug me, be photographed with me and to offer me their support. This time, I didn't cry (winking at LAMBD). I was in a heavenly euphoria...and I am SOOOOOO in love with these "chocolate" cities. Being in Detroit and Chicago made me hate California all the more. Unfortunately, there were Muslim Elements (related to my on going nemesis--The Nation of Islam) who tried to "intimidate me" into not following through with the appearance at AFFINITY...which turned out to be on the University of Chicago Campus. I am very sad that these Cowardly Jerks at the Nation of Islam and at sexist woman-hating web sites like PLAYAHATA.COM continue to do any and everything they can to disparage my political positions....for FEAR that my "common sense" and love for "our people" will begin to take root and INFLUENCE the black community...which has always been in the back pocket of Arab Islam, which has so long disguised itself as BLACK.... anyhoo....I was triumphant. And executed both my appearances with sheer LOVE, raw POWER and pure AUTHORITY. Any idiot (that would be Cynique) who claims that I'm just a "run of the mill" writer....will someday live to EAT those words. And has obviously never read my books. As the legendary scholar Derrick Bell said...."There is NO ONE out there whose work remotely compares to yours, KOLA...You have NO COMPETITION, because you're the most original, most unorthodox natural talent I've read in many a moon." And all he read was "Long Train to the Redeeming Sin". | ||

ON SUNDAY (yesterday the 26th)......I boarded Northwest Flight 1112 leaving Chicago for Detroit. There were 97 passengers on board (including myself) when I got on. 2 hours later, I made history by being the first passenger EVER to fly on a Northwest flight from Chicago to Detroit......all by myself. WHY???? I have no idea. We got on the plane. The stewards were already into their "what to do if we crash" routine...the engines were revving....and then, suddenly.....the CAPTAIN announces that the flight is going to be delayed about 30 minutes for "minor inspections" of the PLANE. Strange men enter the plane and go down the aisles scanning us. I had a window seat and could see that there were also men in WHITE SHIRTS checking out the on-ground instruments, the luggage. Then I saw dogs sniffing the luggage area....the WHEELS!! I didn't think it had anything to do with me. I assumed that someone was doing drugs or something and was about to be busted. It was nearing 7 a.m., and I was exhausted from the long night in Chicago (and too hoarse to talk!)...so I put my head back and fell asleep. About an hour (A WHOLE HOUR) later....I wake up, look up, and everyone is evacuating the plane. I jumped up, pulled off my sunshades and started asking the people what was happening as they left. They told me: "There's something wrong with the engine or something." So I got up, too. I started towards the door, but then two WHITE MEN (they looked like that movie "Men In Black") jumped in front of the stewardess, one of them put his hand on my arm, and he said, "Goodmorning, Ms. Boof---could you please be seated?" I went into shock, because I don't travel under my name. I pressed the red button on the Security Monitor I wear. I said, "No, I won't be seated. Who are you supposed to be?" The man smiled and said, "Look, we're your friends. I can't answer any questions, but you're not to leave the airplane." THEN....the plane's Captain came out of the cockpit and introduced himself. He told me, "I've been instructed to fly you to Detroit Mam, but we're having the other passengers take a different plane in. Don't ask me why, but that's what I've been instructed to do. Please don't be alarmed." THEN....this very sweet Sally Field-looking white lady wades through the exiting passengers and comes up to me....."Ms. Boof, I'm with Northwest Airlines Security. Please don't be alarmed. We're going to make your ride completely pleasurable. Everything's been checked out and everything's fine. You'll be in Detroit, without incident, and you'll have the plane all to yourself. Please...relax and have a glass of wine." I went into a BARRAGE of questions....but she put up her hand and said, "Ms. Boof, I don't have clearance to answer ANY of your questions. All I can tell you is that Flight 1112 is leaving Chicago with you as it's only passenger and we have orders not to let you off the plane." There were OTHER things that I said...that I cannot disclose, but ....I went back to my seat, accepted the glass of wine. (***Took PHOTOS!! with the Captain and Crew, which will be on my web site when I debut my NEW Tour Gallery next week)..... and enjoyed the flight. ******* Once I'm home safe. We'll be issuing a PRESS RELEASE--although I still don't know exactly what happened in Chicago. But of course my family at AALBC.COM is the first to know. Thank you ABM. I love you--for having my back against the Riff-Raff. And truly...there is NO WAY I would be claiming a "fatwa" was issued against me (albeit an "illegal" one since the Gov. of Sudan is NOT an Islamic Scholar but a "government).....if it were not true. No one from that part of the world...would EVER make such a claim....because to do so "falsely" against ISLAM....is to enact one anyway by default. A "fatwa" is the HIGHEST DEATH ORDER....and not even Salman Rushdie has come out of hiding. Myself and Taslima Nasreen, however, live in Semi-hiding and BOTH do press interviews....and in my case....being in America, where it is MUCH harder to carry out a fatwa....I have dared to start making PUBLIC APPEARANCES. And because of the situation with "medical and food supplies" for the Southern Blacks of SUDAN....I feel that I must. I have always felt incredible "guilt" that I am here in the U.S. safe and comfy....fully fed and well loved by a Black American family.....while my whole nation suffers in the bowels of satan. I HAVE to do something. REGARDLESS of death threats, fatwas and Muslim Sexist Pigs who don't like what I have to say. And LAMBD...I've lost 9 pounds since you saw me, so you'll definitely notice the "slimming down" in the pics from Detroit and Chicago. I was SOOOOOO bloated that day in D.C. and my makeup looked like running mudd from all the crying and sweating I did (remember the heat in D.C.?) I've now seen the photos...and I don't know how you thought I looked good. But Thomas says I look good in those pics too. He doesn't like me to lose weight, but it's really harder at my age to keep a good figure without staying slender. The after -35 fat is VERY DANGEROUS. Anyway, I'm 9 pounds smaller. | ||

Well, ABM....Northwest Airlines DID fly me from Chicago to Detroit...the ONLY passenger on flight 1112 AFTER they evacuated the other 96 off....and I'm doing a Press Release about it. I want to keep all these little FACTS on record...so as to make the American Media look like "racist idiots" years from now, when people (with reputations) are apologizing and making excuses for how they treated me in (the past) and how they...."were always in my corner". Advance pics included from this weekend. **Nothing happened to make me lose weight, ABM, other than I only ate salads, drank water and walked 5 miles a night, 4 nights a week since the last time LAMBD saw me. Hi ABM, No the Pilot wasn't copping a feel. But he had his "cap" on my knee and his hand over his cap. He had never heard of me, but after being ORDERED to clear the airplane and to fly me...by myself to Detroit.....he was really impressed and I signed a copy of "Long Train" for him...and ONE FOR HIS WIFE. Yes, he was very flirtatious. I did not kiss the PILOT, ABM. I did kiss LAMBD. And it was...ME....who was feeling LAMBD up...not the other way around. LAMBD was trying to be a gentleman, but I kept coming back and hugging him. He is SOOOOOOO MANLY and CHOCOLATE and SEXY. I love black men. | ||
