Any of you watch the episode of Donald Trump’s popular how-to-succeed-in-business TV show "The Apprentice" that aired lastnite? If so, what did you think of Trump using a gang of hateful/racist White/Asian chicks to humiliate then fire the ONLY sistah Stephanie that was a part of this season’s cast?

Will you continue to watch the show? I think it provides some worthy insight on what's required to succeed in business. But I am SO f@#$ing disgusted about what Trump and those shrill, catty b@#$%es did to Stephanie I might to have to stop watching it out of protest.

I was disappointed with Stephanie though as it seems she should have saw the fix was in and at least be better prepared to assert how she was being mistreated.

Was what happened with Stephanie payback against sistahs for last season's infamous Omarosa episode?

If you have seen this episode, please try to catch a re-broadcast of it. Because it provide a blistering example of how sistahs are regularly sabotaged (especially by White women) in the business world.

Abm, I have not seen it. I've never seen an episode.

But I did catch a piece of a new boxing show that they have out and the white kid on there was blatantly racist (or not). I laughed at what he said, but wasn't angry because come on now--even if he meant what he said about black folks, the folks paid to make sure the show has that shock value, paid to make sure it gets on air and picks up viewers also know that it would enrage some folks and get em talkin' and then they all gone' be tuned in to see what else this white boy got to say bout black folks and all along the network is gettin' that money.

Doesn't the same apply for the Apprentice? Ain't they jes' tryna git viewers?? I mean and what better way than to play the race card? And there will be those folks that boycott, but then there will be those folks that say whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat, I know they didn't!! I can't wait to see it next week!" And that is what they want. "They"-- being "Da Man!! Ha Ha!

I'd venture to say that Reality shows are no more real than the next show on TV. That word, "Reality" is just in vogue and makes the idea of any show to many viewers more exciting!

So, why be upset, really? If you want to be upset at the economization of race (nothing new) but ok. But being upset at how Stephanie's firing went down? Abmmmmmmmmmmmm!!??? In the word's of Cedric The Entertainer---"Come on naaw."

I happened to be flippin' through the channels lastnite, however, did not watch the entire thing. I was talking with one of my girlfriends this morning though (who happens to be a black woman) and she was commenting on how horrible those women were treating this other woman. She described it much as you did Abm. I thought it was interesting how she mentioned the men and how they were treating one another. She said they seem to be cool, calm and civil, but the women, she said they are "straight alley cats" --"ripping each other's throats out".

I wouldn't doubt that her treatment was "payback" for the Omarosa episode last season. But Stephanie did not seem to have the same demeanor. She seems sweet, and is also a very attractive woman.

I have to say though, Omarosa, I didn't like that chicks personality at all, as well as most of the other women. They all seemed rather bytchy and stuck-up. They all knew how to play the "corporate" game. Unfortunately, they (the non-black women) used her race as a scapegoat, rather than address the very apparent issue that they didn't know how to deal with her intellecutally (as she is a very intelligent, well-spoken woman).

All in all, I don't vibe well with women like that, regardless of race --generally, they are too fyckin' bytchy and too caught up in the rat race!

Abm:

I haven't watched it and never will. With regard to what happened to Stephanie--she went on there and she deserves whatever happened to her. I am amazed when all these folks are astounded that some black person is mistreated like this. That is all part of the entertainment of it.

Sometimes it seems to me that a lot of black folks are like some young fat butt boy in the prison shower, bent over with his cheeks spread and wondering why people keep tapping dat azz. 500 years in this country and we don't know nothing.

Correction: The fired sistah name is Stacey, not Stephanie. Sorry for the prior error (dang-blasted dyslexia! :-))

Bleekindigo/Chris,

Your views are of course valid. I guess the reason why I am disappointed is I find "The Apprentice" to be a (VERY RARE) good TV show that provides genuine insight on some of what is required to succeed in business. And being a proponent of increased Black business control/ownership, I had, prior to what happen, found the show to be almost a helpful form of public service.

And I'm not naïve about what sells TV programs. Sure controversy/strife are fodder for high Nielsen Ratings. But, I mean, there wasn't even any subtlety here. I guessed you'd have to see how so blatant and mean spirited the event was to appreciate what I mean.

What occurred was these 2 White women f*#$ed up an assignment. And per the protocol of the show, one of them should have been canned. But instead of owning up to their errors, they falsely blamed the sistah for creating this hostile/unproductive environment. Trump then invited all of the other members of the all-female team (Yeah. The producers were deliberately trying to start $#*+.) into the meeting (against the format of his show), all of who proceeded to call the sistah everything from disruptive to being clinically disturbed. So Trump - again, going against his show format - used their unsubstantiated views to fire Stacey.

After the show's conclusion, my wife and I were so aghast by what we had witnessed, we both sat in silence for about a full minute before we both began hurling obscenities at our (hapless) television.

The real issue with Stacey was she was the only Black female of a team of 9 - 10 White/Asian females. She was the ONLY business owner in the group. SHE, more than they, knows what's required to succeed in business. So what you had was a secure, confident, accomplished and skilled/talent BLACK businesswoman who wasn't kissin' their pink/yellow @$$e$. In a FAIR system she likely would have survived them all.

And they all resented and feared that.

So they 'trumped up' a minor incident that occurred during the first week of the show to falsely make her appear to be some crazy (Black) woman. And Trump fearing the possibility of "Omarosa Reloaded" dumped Stacey so fast/coldly, had she taken a moment longer clearing Trump Tower, she might have been tossed out of an open window by security.

If you all get an opportunity to check out a re-broadcast of this episode, please do so. It's a popular show, so it likely will re-air on your local NBC TV/Cable/Dish affiliates. Because if you (A_womon) are looking for a glaring example of why sistahs should be wary of White (& Asian) women, you won't be disappointed.

PS: Uh...thanks for the very GRAPHIC analogy. You must have recently watched LaVar Burton's "Dummy".

Moonsigns,

I agree with your contrasting views of Stacey and Omarosa. However, if you take a step back and clearly view what happened to Stacey, you may understand how in part an Omarosa comes to being.

Abm,

Because this is the corporate world, the rat race at it's worse, I happened to view Omarosa as a typical, corporate bytch, and her race/color was/is irrelevant to me.

However, in the real world, I know that this definitely played a part and because she fit a stereotypical role, they worked it. I also found the white women did the same. They played the race card to their advantage, and then sat in their "sweet, passive, white girl" stereotype, again, to their advantage. This is a capitalistic, sexist system though. This program, as well as the corporate world, operates like this. LIke I said, I just don't vibe well with women like this, period! They are fake regardless of race. They make a circus of themselves and their selfishness and then want to cry foul.

From what you have said about Stacey (and from the little I saw), I hope she continues to do well with her business. The other women, their guiltiness will follow close behind them --it's universal law.

Moonsigns,

I don't know Omarosa from 'eve', though I agree the crap she pulled seems afoul of many business/etiquette standard that I practice/respect.

But believe-you-me, I have witnessed many other capable/nice/decent Black women turned into monster via how rudely/unfairly they've been treated in Corp. America.

Thus, it would be interesting to have met Omarosa (and others who behave like her) at the beginning of her career. Because maybe she is the 'monster' made by other 'Frankensteins'.

The thing that bother me about Stacey's treatment is those highbred ho's basically painted her as being this crazy woman for 30M people to witness. That's the kind of thing that may stay with her FAR beyond "The Apprentist".

And how the f@#$ can a Black woman own/operate her own successful business in the uber-competitive NYC if she's so crazy she can't work with others to conduct business? It's almost 'nuts' for others to presume that possible.

And THAT is why I'm pissed at Trump. HE, who has beared more than his share of slander, should of have been savvy enough to discern the bull$#*+ game those BEYATCHES were dealing. But he either did not or he did and let her get run down. Either way, I lost respect for him as both a businessman and person after that.

And if Stacey IS crazy, why wasn't THAT uncovered during Trump's candidate selection process? What they f#$% are they doing anyway. Drawing straws?

She didn't show her azz when she got fired either. Did you notice that? I would've expected a crazy person to cut a fool up in that board room when she got fired. She kept her composure, got up and rolled out. Didn't say a word to any of those creeps. That shytt was f*&^ed up! I have to keep watching it, though. Just to see how the brother makes out. Kwame came pretty close last season, but Omarosa dogged him out.

Lambd,

Yeah. Chick was cooler than a MOFO. Almost chillingly so. Like she either knew what was coming her way or didn't really give a f@#$.

I just wish before it was over she had told Trump, all those fake wannabutwillnevereverbe BEYATCHES and the rest of America what REALLY happened...that she was singled-out and sabotaged for being Black and independent. I think she could have done that without appearing psycho.

And that might have forced almost any reasonable person who might witness what happened to see/feel just a smidgen of what Black women are forced to endure in board rooms...and the rest of America.

Abm: We really don't know what happened. They edit the crap out of those shows. She may have said something and it got cut out. Last year, Omarosa said that those bitzes said some very racist things to her but it got cut out before it aired. I know they edited that first show of the new season to make it look like Stacey was a loon....It did seem as if she was saying and doing some weird shytt though.

Lambd,

You're right we are only getting a clever selected portion of what really happened. Still, I never got the impression that Stacey was "a loon". I just thought that she was probably a person who was accustomed to making decisions on her own and may have been struggling to work with women who likely resented her from the get-go. Because as I said, she was the ONLY one of them who has actually created/owns/operates a business. I think they smartly saw her as being the prime threat and divined to take her out pronto. And her being Black made it easier to rally them all together. Because nothin' says lovin' amongst White foks quite like their mutual resentment of Black foks.

ABM,

Yes, Stacey left with style.... and I admired her strength of character. I do wish she would have defended herself a bit more. I think both her silence and her ethnicity made her an easy target in a hostile environment where black people are always considered expendable. Just business as usual in Corporate America. Aye?

High_density,

Indeed. Though if you look at what happened to Stacey, you may have more empathy for why Omarosa carried on the way she did last season.

In hindsight, maybe Omarosa was "doing unto others [BEFORE or AS] others was doing on to you."

Abm,

I happen to think Omarosa is just bytchy because that is her nature (as well as extremely self-centered). She is a celebrity because she is a rat racin', green chasin' machine --she's the 'American dream' in motion and willing to take out anyone in her path to get what she wants.

She's a smart chick (in many ways). Just like those white heifers who played the race card, so did she --and America loved it! Why? Because we love to be entertained, and at any cost, even if it compromises our sense of self.

Hmmmmm?

My original and involuntary inclination is to concur with your views about Omarosa. But what happened to Stacey has caused to become more curious about whether the monster we (think we) know as Omarosa is self-made or White-made.

Abm,

There could be many reasons why Stacey got dumped on the way she did.
1) Her race could be a factor because of last season.
2) She really could be crazy. Hey, there are many crazy cheats who are runnining many a companies out here.
3) She could be dealing with undercurrents of jealousy from the other women and they just ganged up and got her out.
4) She really sucked.

There are proably more theories, those are just some. At any rate, I think it is easier to jump the gun and use the race card. It could be a factor, but it also could not. I also look at corporate America in general, it's a cut-throat, capitalistic game --who ever has the most money wins --hence, whoever can cheat the most gets the most money (usually). What can people expect from such filth?

About Omarosa, she is willingly in the profession she is in, and knows the stakes are high and the games are many. After the show was over she was crying (bytching) everywhere that she was cast as the "angry, black woman" (paraphrasing) "so typical of the media". She isn't stupid, she knew they would do that and her actions prove my point. She's the type of bytch that will use her race to her advantage ONLY if it promotes her self-interests. Otherwise, I guarantee you, she will be champagne sippin', caviar eatin' and yacht hoppin' with all those rich, white cheats. She is a creature of her own making and, because of her smarts, will work the shyt out of it to ensure her comfort. She is no different than any other high, corporate roller. That is why I think she is self-made.

Moonsigns,

All of you speculations about Stacey may have (varying degrees of) merit. But I didn't see ANYTHING that supported her ouster. So, unless I see some reasonable indication that she was incompetent or crazy, I think I'll roll with my "They are vicious/jealous/racist b@#$%es" theory.

You are, of course, free to surmise otherwise.

And for someone who has argued against unfair prejudgments, you makes some INTERESTING comments about Omarosa. But then, I suppose we all do.

So carry on!

But I think I'll leave this one be for now. Because I suspect that this is the kind of thing that might get outtah hand 'round hur.

Abm,

I could understand and resepct your opinion about making "unfair prejudgments" if Omarosa didn't put herself out the way she does. However, she does, and in a big way. To me, she is nothing but a hypocrite. It dishonors blacks who do really suffer injustices in the work place due to race/color.

This is also my opinion about her. I understand I could be wrong, but I don't think I am. She's seems as shady as they come (corporate cheats).

Moonsigns,

OKAY already!

You know I am as much the free-speaker ‘round hur as they come. But I think it is time to lay-off the Omarosa bashing. Because not only is it excessive, unbalanced and largely unsupported, it is beginning to have a tone that some Blacks might consider racially biased, if not offensive.

And, BY-FAR, the biggest "corporate cheat" on "The Apprentice" is the show's creator...Donald Trump! Trump could teach ‘the devil’ how to steal souls.

Just further proof of what I said about this woman called MOON.

And the sad thing...is that with all her good intentions and privileage, she's so typical of the type.

And what she REALLY WANTS TO "SAY"....can't help but glare beneath the crook of her sparse words in so many posts.

The fact that our people are mixing with people like her....therefore so called "colored" children being raised/influenced by the very People who judged us to be 3/5ths Human and not worthy of our own identity in the first place....is further confirmation of the Black Man's downfall.

And as always...FAVOR LADY thinks she's doing us some favor.

Abm,

You're right about Donald Trump --but look how people from every race run to get on his show. I would say that the fault lies within the heart, rather than race/color of a person. The issue I have with Omarosa is the image she willingly presents of herself, not her color.

It is quite ironic how you accuse me of saying offensive things, when you, as well as many other board members will so eagerly, persistently, and freely drag white people (in general) over --some undeservingly. Though I believe that Omarosa behaves as such because it is her nature, many of you (here) will attribute the actions of most of the whites you talk about, to the single fact that, that they are white. There is a difference. --and you want to say the words I write are racially offensive?

Though the hypocrisy is ridiculous, such is life. I'll let it alone out of respect for you. Though I disagree with you on some issues, you have been reasonable with me.

Ms Wysteria,

Yeah, "further confirmation of the Black Man's downfall". Your theory has fault, reason being, Black men, like other races of men, still date/marry women within their own race in far greater numbers than those that do interacially date/marry. Though your anger would like that excuse, in reality, it really carries no weight.

In regards to the hypocrisy I was speaking of, you made a perfect example on another thread. If you disliked white people, especially white men so freakin' much, you would have never taken so much 'joy' and "fun" in being treated "DELICATELY" by some WHITE pilot. That sounds rather sick to me and especially because it goes against everything to say you're about -- Hypocrite!

BTW, I won't read your shyt anymore, so don't make your fingers bleed by typing some long, irrational, manic post about who you THINK I am. You've been wrong and you continue to be wrong. Don't waste your time. I surely won't!

Moonsigns,

First. I don't deny being hypocritical. I am. Though, part of that is foisted upon me. Because were this here just about me and you, I would be inclined to allow you to say WHATEVER HOWEVER you d*mn choose. I'd probably even enjoy it, as I would enjoy dealin it back atchu.

But we are not alone. This is a community of (loosely) like-minded people who have (to varying degrees) a shared history. And as arrogant as I am, even I am not so self-centered that I would attempt to usurp our communal criteria.

Now, what I find ironic is that you now appear to do to me what I have chide others for doing to you. Thus, I suppose A_womon would say "See. I told you so." But no. I still defend your right to express yourself, I just advise that you take care not to invite unnecessary antagonism.

So, as far as I am concerned, you can say whatchawanna say. I really said that for YOUR, not my own, benefit. Because considering your history here, I felt you appeared to be moving into familar hostile territory.

But tale your tale, Pale. I ain't gun be madatchu. A_womon and Lambd might, though.

But I'll say this:
Being "White" in this country, and this world, is an entity all into itself. It manifest itself in a myriad persona and apparati. And it can be equally overt as it is subtle.

But there is one thing that is almost ALWAYS resident within Whiteness...its complete and inexorable ability to see, feel, hear, know and act upon everything via the perfected perspective of the Caucasian.

And you'll probably live your entire life without having any real clue as to that THAT means to non-White people.

Moonsigns,

I wouldn't expect you to understand either Stacey or Omarosa. Furthermore, I must say I admired Omarosa for standing up against all of the bs black people endure everyday when faced with the demons in the corporate world who look and think as you do. Your responses are so typical of other "Whogee" white people! You know the ones who:
1. Declared OJ guilty after his acquittal. Saying, " You know OJ got off" "Is this justice?"

2. Insist that Rodney King had to have done something to deserve the brutal treatment he received from the LAPD. "You know it had nothing to do with him being black." "Now, isn't it sad what happen to Reginald Denning? "

3. In response to 9/11 asking, "Why do they hate us? and making goofy remarks like..... "They're just jealous of our freedom and wealth"

4. Countless other scenarios, to stupid to repeat.

So me a big favor Moonsigns: try criticizing people of your own race and leave us alone.

ABM..."eating eggs"...an East African SLANG (the dozens) means ......."drinking sperm".

So, no, you don't like to eat eggs.

SMART ASS.

And I asked you not to get in my fued, but you just had to show your UNITY with MOON by pointing out that "like her"---you eat eggs.

MOON and I are not "play fighting" here. We're having a real, true FIGHT...and then you drag yourself in to note your "commonality" with MOON....as if to asunder the commonality between you and I.

You keep insulting me with this shit.

I wish you would notice this and learn to keep your mouth out of it...so that I wouldn't have to cuss at you, which I DO NOT enjoy.

Whether you mean to or not---you keep taking sides, as if I'm checking for your opinions while in the midst of a riff with MoonBitch.

Miss_wysteria,

Hmmmm?

Interesting. Considering the female, not male, produces a form of reproductive 'egg', I would think that "eating eggs" would more accurately characterize the OPPOSITE of what you describe.

But, h*ll! What do I know about "African SLANG" anyway?

JEEZUS!

Light up, already! You're gonna give yourself a coronary.

NO. I was NOT attempting to ally with Moonsigns in your (LATEST) catfight.

I was SIMPLY (but jokingly) saying..."I like to eat eggs too." hehe!

But okay. I'll let you do the thang, Big-Bang. And I'll just sit quietly in a corner and catch me sum "Z's" ("1-1000 sheep, 2-1000 sheep, 3-1000 sheep...' ")

PS: Thanks for noticing my "SMART ASS" (finally got rid of that last pimple). I try to keep it buffed and shined all for you baby-boo. :-)

Omarosa talked the talk but couldn't walk the walk. She talked all big and bad and then when she was on the way to being fired, what did she do -- she burst into the boardroom crying, begging and pleading, not to be fired. She put on a good game face, but it was all a facade. Eventually people don't realize they have to take off the mask and then reveal their true self. And, usually it's not who they portrayed themselves to be. And, her lying to Kwame was inexcusable. If she had no intentions of helping him she should have quit the team.

Regarding Stacey, I guess once you get labeled or tagged, what really can you do. I think if she had tried to show that she wasn't crazy she would have come off as really being crazy. Or at least looking that way. But this is also about being harmonious on a team. We only saw what they showed on television so who knows what the footage on the cutting room floor revealed. However, of course, it was shown on this week's show, that she wasn't really "the" problem on the Apex team. I have much more respect for Stacey's boardroom behavior and demeanor than Omarosa's. You can't deal with irrational behavior by becoming (more) irrational. Don't believe me, take a look at most of the responses on this board. :-)

It appears to me that Moonsigns is in a damned if she do and damned if she don't position. If she responses to what others post on the board, then 'it's you have no right to talk about black folk since you're not black.' Yet, if she changes the subject or introduces some thing into the discussion, then she's accused of coming on the board and taking charge or taking over because she's white.

Jmho,

I concur with your views about Omarosa.

My only reason for confronting Moonsigns about her Omarosa bashing was I thought that had she continued (which she did), she would incite yet another row (which she did).

Still, though I think there's A LOT about her and what happened that we DON'T know, I think Omarosa got what she apparently deserved, which was unfortunate. Because I also think that had she been less focused on scheming and facilitating her personal agenda and more on winning the game, I think that she could have done well. Because, if you recall, even though she was canned, was the only one on her team who had the charisma and salemanship (vital talents for a business mogul) to sell one of the dreadfully morbid paintings they were charged with selling.

But I disagree with what you appear to suggest, that Stacey was a victim of making a bad 'first impression'. Again. I think that she was in the crosshairs of those you-know-what's from the rooster's crow. And there was not a dang-thing that she was going to do to prove otherwise...mainly because they weren't even going to give her a chance to.

In hindsight, perhaps her only real chance she was that if she played dutiful 'Kizzy' to the strongest other teamate's 'Miss Anne'. Then hope they both survive Trump's culling process to the point in which she could go mano-o-mano for the final slot.

But, yeah, Stacey demonstated much more class, tact and maturity than did Omarosa.

And I agree WHOLEHEARTEDLY with you opinion about how Moonsigns is view here. Sometimes, I almost wish that she would leave. Not because I prefer that she go, but rather to see SOME of us have left to talk (& rabidly complain) about.

Response: It is always about race, is it not? I guess it's just the American obession to constantly ponder the race issue. Why would I consider you a racist for telling me not to share my opinion? Is it simply because you are white and anytime a white person tells a black person not to to something then black people cry racism. Is that the logic behind your thinking? And is is not just another distortion about how black people think. I think the participants of this discussion forum make it pretty clear that all black people don't alike. I'll admit that we have some common ground that extends beyond our ethnicity, but we are not a monolithic community.

I never said you were a racist. The root of racism is far more complex and dangerous then our exchange of opinions about the people on the Apprentice. Furthermore, if you were truly a racist I doubt that you would have any interest in this online discussion about the opinions of black people. Perhaps your reaction is rooted in being the "minority" in this forum.

For me the "The Apprentice" depicts the reality for some black employees working in a predominately white workplace. As a black female working in a predominately white male profession, I know too well what both Stacey and Omarosa experienced. I've been invisible, undervalued for my contributions and ignored. I'm well aware of the double standards used against some black people and the unfair playing field. Like Omarosa, I've used by attitude as a badge of courage to fight back in a hostile business environments. Yes, I know firsthand the unfairness from the corporate slave masters to the plantation overseers.

M says:

If you don't want to be put in a box, don't put me in one either.

Response: Don't we put everyone in a box? I'm just not sure that we will ever get away from dealing with others based on stereotypes and perceptions influenced by the way we process our life. What do you think?

Bottomline: Fair is fair, and I had no right to treat you any different then any other user of this forum.

My take on The Apprentice, Omarosa...Omarosa was a conniving, manipulating, be-otch, and I loved her most of the time, bc they didn't know where she was coming from...and who she would hit up next...the only thing I hated is that they used her against a black man, a very comparable black man who could have easily won it all. Now, if Stacy had just a bit of Omarosa in her, she would have showed those be-otch's where to go, and how to get there. They were some manipulative be-otchs from the very start...Stacy wasn't crazy...she was just a little accentric, free-thinking kind of gal, whereas they were tight-ass, conniving SOB's. Even when she wasn't the one to make the mistakes in the last episode before she was fired, they still fingered her. She should have come off on some Omarosa BS and labeled them all, "they're crazy", u know what i mean. But she was soft, even apologized to these women and they did her in. I too work in an environment where the majority is much like The Apprentice, but mostly white male, but I will tell you, when it comes to mine, and sometimes some of my sisters and brothers, it will be bombs over Baghdad up in that place before I let them do me in. Stacy should have been the same.

Absolutely! I admire your courage and willing to take arms against the enemies in the workplace.

I think I understood Stacey's heart, but I wanted to see the sista throw a few verbal punches before walking out of that boardroom!

High Density,

For the most part, we are free to speak our minds. However, I don't feel that everyone wants to take responsibility for their actions/comments/feelings.

"Try criticizing people of your own race and leave us alone." -HD

Of course I don't believe that the black community is a monolithic community. I think blacks hold one another to harsher standards regarding individuality vs. "community" than any other non-black person ever would.
Your above quote led me to believe that you would consider me a racist if I asked you not to share your opinion because you don't like when I criticize the "us" you refer to --hence, you took it personally. I was specifically speaking of Omarosa's character, not you, or any other black person for that matter.

I don't believe "everything" is about race.

No, not everyone puts people in a "box"

Your remarks don't offend me in the least, no apology needed.

all right NAH SISG!! I am FEELIN That! I think Trump put a weak black woman on this year cuz he got so many letters last year from white women who didn't like being out- bitched by OMAroSA nor the way the donald was so obviously taken with her! So he smoothed their feathers by throwing them a little black sacrificial lamb that they could kick around and feel that they had the upper hand!

Listen at y'all two. What do you two know about getting a man "jonesis" :-).

See, I think that's some misdirected turnaround mind thang. See, here's what it is, Sisg's got this thang for Trump but see's resisting the notion but it's tearing her apart. So what she does is fantizise about it and then projects herself as O and then she can even talk about it openly on the board. She thanks she's slick, yeah that's what it is.

A_womon too. See, that's why A_womon be so hard on ol'girl. It's that mind turnaround thang again. Yep, bet am right. See, that white man she "thought" loved her (they lived together) took the dog for a walk and shes' never seen him since. That was only about 10 months ago so she's still raw.

I am sorry I had to bust y'all out but I couldn't sit idly by while you two .........you know.

Both my sister and I are married to and raising kids with beautiful, law-abiding, hardworking, church-going BLACK foks.

And were you to ever do the same, you might earn a more balanced and grounded appreciation for much of what I say.

So what are YOU gun' do?

Sisg, I tend to agree with you. I didn't watch The Apprentice last season, but after reading a piece on Kwame and his new real estate development, I went and rented the whole season via Netflix and watched it from beginning to end a few weeks ago. I loved the show and I've been watching it this season as well. And I hardly ever watch TV.

Anywho...I'm convinced that Omarosa was out to benefit from this show whether she became the apprentice or not--from the beginning. Since they cut so much, no one really knows what went on behind the scenes, but what I saw on screen?? Umph umph... Perhaps she liked being typeset as the "Angry Black Woman" but just from listening to her on the show, she seems a bit fake to me. Notice how her voice changes when she's in the boardroom or doing the interview-ish parts? She gets a condescending type of voice that says "the rest of these folks are idiots and I'm the bomb" -- this worked my nerves. We won't talk about the many tasks where she just disappeared or got a headache all of a sudden, or when she outright lied to Kwame. It was always about her, not the group, the task, or anyone individually. IMO, she was used to project an image and she did just that...unfortunately it wasn't a good one.

And where is she now? Puleeze, Omarosa WORKED that role. She now has a weekly commentary on the show's site giving her take on this year's show...play by play. She too has a book coming out, so I guess we'll get more from her on her take of things. I'm just not sure I'd believe anything she said.

As far as Stacie J, she was outright cheated and set up from the beginning. Granted, she was acting a little weird with the 8-ball and wondering why no one was listening to her, but I too think it was a set up from the beginning. Her performance on that last task was no where near as bad as Ivana (the PM) and the one who went overbudget (Maria) on the advertising. And if you'll recall, all the other team members were having a meeting (without her) and when she walked in, they stopped talking and all started walking off. What's up with that? She had reason to be suspicious and a little uptight when it came to those other women. When they failed in their task, they fell back on the "Stacie J has got to go" campaign just to cover their butts.

And for Trump to do the posse-style firing by bringing all the ladies back to the boardroom? Puleeze...DRAMA! He disrupted the whole process of his show to do this, shifted the focus off the task and poor management skills of the PM, and then let them accuse her of being "crazy" and that they feared for their lives. This in itself was crazy for them to say and for Trump to even acknowledge. If they were so scared, why didn't they bring it up to the producers? Why didn't they express concerns to someone prior to that boardroom scene? Why didn't Trump have her evaluated? And shoot...don't they get extensive background information on these people? Wouldn't they also get their medical records? Puleeze...

Stacie J knew they were out to get her, yet she still performed. While I didn't think she was "the apprentice," she didn't deserve firing at that point. Bottom line, those silly women used her. I just can't figure out why Trump and the Producer went along with it, other than for the ratings.

Whew, enough for now.

Tee,

You are absolutely right...it doesn't make sense, but it does make good ratings. O was too strong last season, O almost took over the show! Old Trump probably didn't take a liking to the fact that O had him and his entire staff in a bag, O-well! But we will keep watching and see how this plays out. I knew old girl was gonna get something out of this thing, it was all about her in the first place. Talk with you soon.

Carey, what r u talking about.. Trump, jonesing...I can't get past that hair, let alone everything else...okaaaaaaay.

Tee,

Yeah. I guess Omarosa prove out to be crazy like a fox.

And I read Kwame is doing alright for himself too. He managing a multi-billion dollar real estate project somewhere.

So maybe Trump picked the wrong "apprentice" after all.

Sisg,

What about that five billion dollars Trump is standing on? Can you "get past" DAT? <wink!>

Abm, I think he picked the wrong one too. While I thought Bill was pretty good, I preferred Kwame's leadership style and the laid back type of personality he had. On that last task, Bill was micro-managing and being a pain in the butt, even though his folks were working hard for him.

I'm glad Kwame didn't win because had he won, he probably wouldn't be doing what he's doing now...and come to find out he received a job offer worth more than what Trump was offering his apprentice. Way to go Kwame. He also has a book in the works and it'll be definitely going on my reading list. I'll post his press release in another thread.

Back to Stacie J real quick...my question is will she sue? To be called crazy like that on national television is a big pill to swallow. I'm not one to believe of the theory of suing over this or that, but she actually has grounds. Her whole character was put before millions of viewers; all for a show's ratings. I'm sorry, but I'd be pissed. I love the way she handled things on screen, but like I said, I think she has a case. Trump needs to apologize for doing that posse-style firing too. Having money and power is one thing, but to treat a person like that on national TV with something as serious as being "crazy" was unprofessional, uncaring, and uncouth. He should've "fired" on task performance alone, ended the show, and then gathered the women for a discussion OFF CAMERA over what happened. Hell, he could've even hired someone to evaluate Stacie J and if she does have pyschological issues that would affect her being in the running for the apprentice, he could've quietly had her removed from the show. Or would that show they were inept in their selection process? Bad move Trump! No matter how you look at it.

Jojorules, I disagree with you. Wrong is wrong. Her race may be a factor in this issue and why those women ganged up against her; it may not. All I'm know is how she was used as the scapegoat was wrong and that has nothing to do with race.

Kwame, while he is quite the business man, is nothing exciting to look at --in my opinion.

JoJo,

I don't think it's just to say Omarosa is "a typical black woman" just because she did some shady stuff to Kwame --maybe a typical, corporate cheat, but definitely not "a typical black woman." That is more than an unfair comment.

"'Apprentice' reject loses her off-air job over on-air remarks'

Saturday, October 2, 2004

By MARK McGUIRE
ALBANY TIMES UNION

For the second time in two days, "Apprentice" contestant Jennifer Crisafulli was apparently fired Thursday -- this time from her real job -- for remarks she made on the NBC reality show.

An official with the Manhattan firm Prudential Douglas Elliman said Thursday that Crisafulli, a 32-year-old real estate agent with the firm, would not be welcomed back because of comments she made on Wednesday night's episode of "The Apprentice."

Crisafulli, who now lives in Manhattan, made remarks that were perceived by some as anti-Semitic..."
