Hey, I just want to say how much I enjoy this site. I know we get stupid sometimes, but for the most part, it has been extremely rewarding. I have to take the time to commend Big Daddy for a job well done. He rules with an iron hand...which is good most of the time. Also, Cynique, Yukio, and of course Abm send me running to dictionary.com more than ever since I've been reading here. (I used to read encyclopedias for fun as a little boy when I couldn't get to the library.) The exchanges here aren't always educational, but they are always, always entertaining. I love this site and even though I pick as much as everyone else...(Abm excluded), I really enjoy reading here everyday. I hope noone takes anything that's said here personally.
Also, I'd like to say that I'm proud to be associated with the AALBC. I am even proud of Kola Boof and her accomplishments. The fact that she is lending a hand to Hayden and Sisg makes me all warm and fuzzy inside... Oh, and Ms. Boof, please don't think that this is some cheap ploy to get an invitation to your speaking engagement here in DC...Just because I live and work here and I have the type of job that would allow me to be almost anywhere at any time and would love to go and the fact that I have a very personal stake in the security of the capital city doesn't mean that I would ever stoop so low as to beg someone for a ticket or an invitation just because we chat like old friends or lost lovers here on this site. I would never ever do anything like that. |
