The following is in response to Liberti's AALBC.com - Off The Record: "Is that haterade I smell?" post.
Liberti,
Your "arsonist" metaphor is, uh, amusing (Hmmmm? So lemme see: Liberti is a felon-turned-gossip?)
Hey, baby. Nobody’s trynah deal you raw. But if you fling a pail of pee out of an open window the unlucky guy who was walking by is going to come pounding on your door.
And until you get that thingamabob fixed on your site (BTW: Isn’t Thumper a smarty-pants engineer? Get him to handlit fo yu.), so that you will have to TAKE somah whatchu are dealing out, whenever I see anything generated by and/or pertaining to you, I am going to have an involuntary taste in my mouth of KFC.
BTW: If you are not a "ghetto author" then what kind of "struggling" writer are you? |

I just wish ol Liberti Bell would start ringing with some good juicy gossip and leave the stank attitude out of it.
She's trying to be clever and whip-tongued like Kola, but she ain't got the skills or the charisma.
She should just come with some good gossip or don't come at all, because Troy woulda been smarter to get somebody with TALENT and INSIDE access to the industry for this post.
He could also use a few new book reviewers---people who can actually write and are more serious about the craft. Not knocking Thumper in the least, he's good. But Thumper's more of a "personality" reviewer/Louella Parsons all in one.
Troy needs to find a serious, academic-minded literary craftsperson to do reviews around here in addition to Thumper. That would make this site get a lot more quotes on book jackets and more High Brows would start to come thru.
