God and the Black Woman:"Anna the Prophetess"

36There was also a prophetess, Anna, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She
was very old; she had lived with her husband seven years after her marriage, 37and then
was a widow until she was eighty-four.[] She never left the temple but worshipped night and day, fasting and praying. 38Coming up to them at that very moment, she gave thanks
to God and spoke about the child to all who were looking forward to the redemption of
Jerusalem.
39When Joseph and Mary had done everything required by the Law of the Lord, they
returned to Galilee to their own town of Nazareth.

==============================

Black women here’s another black woman of the tribe of Israel who Scripture
mentions as playing a role in the life of Yeshua/Hamashiach AKA Jesus Christ.
Her name is Anna. She is a prophetess. She is said to be of the tribe of Asher.
Asher was one of the 12 sons of Israel (Gen. 30:13; 35:26; ). His mother was a
black/kushite woman by the name of Zilpah (Gen. 30:13). She was a handmaiden to Leah. Meaning, she was a servant woman chosen to be a wife in order to mother children by Jacob whose name was later changed to Israel (Gen. 30:9; 32:28). The Asherites dwelt among the Canaanites (Judges 1:32). The Canaanites were descendants of Canaan (Gen. 10:6-20). Canaan is Ham/Khem’s son. (Genesis 10:6). Ham/Khem means Black. History tells us that the Hamites were/are Black/Africans all over the planet (Gen. 10:6-20).

As with most African tribes living amidst one another we can be assured that there was intermarriage between the Black/Hebrews and Black/Canaanites as was the custom. Again, Tamar the mother of the line of the Jews was a Canaanite woman married first to Er then Onan, the 2 sons of Judah (Gen. 38:2-3). His mother was Leah and his father Israel/Jacob (Gen. 29:35). He was their 4th son. Judah is :the direct line out of which came the black/Hebrews called ‘Jews’, including Yeshua
(Matt. 1; Jn. 4:9). Tamar would father twin sons by Judah (Gen. 38). We also verify that the intermarriage between Hamites and so-called Semites continued throughout Israel’s history.

Hiram of Tyre was a Sidonian a descendant of Canaan (Gen. 10:15). King Hiram is mentioned as being the son of a Canaanite man whose mother was a Black/Hebrew Israelite of the line of Naphtali (2 Sam. 5:11. Mind you this is continuous intermarriage centuries after Tamar had twin sons by Judah (Gen. 38). At any rate, this is the historical lineage out of which Anna would come.

Scripture says her father’s name was Phanuel or Penuel which is defined in the Hebrew as ‘face of God.’ Quite obvi ous Phanuel had to be a very spiritual man. Anna as we will see was so, and this points to being reared in a godly atmosphere. Okay, having established the basic history of the Asherites of which Anna was a descendant let’s move on to her relationship with Yeshua/Hamashiach aka Jesus Christ. She enters Yeshua’s life when he is but an infant, eight days old. His parents Mary whose Hebrew name is Miriam, and Joseph had as custom called for brought the child to the temple to dedicate him to God (Lk. 2:21-24; Ex. 12:13:2,12,15; Lev. 12:2-8.

We meet Anna when she is 84 yrs. old. She is said to have been married for 7 yrs. then widowed (Lk. 2:36). She was a spiritual black woman who after she became a widow, abided in the Temple. Often times we are forgetful that the Temple had a woman’s section. Emphasis is just put on the man’s section (2 Chr. 3-4; ).

However, God who is said to hav e given the instructions on building each section
of the Temple had a woman’s section to talk to women (Ezek. 40-49). Anna is
proof of that. As I wrote in another post with regard to Elizabeth and Mary, these
black women were spiritual power houses and the Bible records these two as the
first to know the promised Messiah was on his way. Elizabeth, who would mother
the predecessor to Yeshua, John the Baptist, was the first person to receive the
Holy Spirit and along with the Mother of God Miriam, prophesied and rejoiced in
the coming Messiah (Lk 1:26-56).

So it is that the women’s section was as anointed and important in and of itself, as the men’s section. It was there, in the Woman’s section of the Temple that Anna
would be filled with the Spirit of her Living God and so receive the Word of God.
She was a prayer warrior. One who fasts, for she received deep, the ultimate deep
spiritual insight into the Messiah and so knew exactly who he was when Miriam
and Joseph came to the Temple. The Bible says she preached and taught the crowd
all about the temple the prophecies concerning the infant, Yeshua (Lk. 2:38).

In other words, Anna was a preacher, teacher, instructor sent from God. She taught both men and women the deep things of God. Here again, is proof that Scripture has been tampered with by ill-bred, sexist males. ‘A woman should not speak in church’ is a statement Paul made with regard to chaotic protocol among newly converted gentiles (1 Cor. 14:34-35). Yet, twisted males taught that Scripture as if it was a divine order and taught that Paul was saying that women ‘were not to be preachers.’ I mean, if it were truly the case that women could not speak then Anna full of truth and power from God would be
in the wrong for speaking, teaching, preaching the truth. As well, the New
Testament records the 4 virgin daughters who prophesied (Acts 21:9). How could
they prophesy if they were n ot allowed to ‘speak, preach, teach?’

See again, male sexist tampering with the word of God has caused women to be
limited in what God truly wants from women, power house spiritual forces
teaching, preaching, shouting, writing, singing, praising, exalting God with a open
mouth! (Acts 21:9). As well, it would make the Holy Spirit wrong for on Pentecost, Scripture records the ‘men and women’ were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to prophesy as was prophesied that the ‘sons and ‘daughters’ would so
do (Acts 2:17).

Unlike Simeon the man who as well prophesied over the infant Yeshua, the exact words of Anna are not recorded (Lk. 2:25-35). Could that be sexist, satanic male input once again at work? Let me say this, Scripture speaks of the anti-Christ as being of a perverse ‘patriarchy’ mentality that ‘will not regard nor heed the voice of women’ (Dn. 11:37). In other words, he would pervertedly despise the woman’s voice, function, purpose and bei ng. So showing that patriarchy madness is anti-Christ and is the place where the Anti-Christ will breed and manifest his own.

As shown, God has always been pro-woman. He is about a matriarchy as from the time of the fall on, Scripture records the ‘woman’ as being the key to bringing
forth the redeemer. The redeemer will ever more be called ‘The Seed of the
Woman’ (Gen. 3:15). In fact, Yeshua would become the Second Man or Second
Adam to redeem and fix what the first Adam screwed up, but there would never be a Second Woman for you see, the fact is, the Woman repented after the fall,
confessed her sins to her God (Gen. 3:13). Whereas the man, ‘blamed God and the Woman’ and so left that un-repented mentality in masculinity who ever faults the woman (Gen. 3:12). Indeed, instead of Adam being man enough to take responsibility for his part in the wrong, he chose to ‘blame the woman and God.’.

Hence, a second Adam (Seed of the Woman) would stand up to the serpent/satan, whereas the first Adam failed. A second Adam (Seed of the Woman) would take back the ground that the first Adam wasn’t man enough to hold on. A second Adam (Seed of the Woman) would defend the woman from the serpent’s deception whereas the first Adam wimped out and let the serpent toy with his woman’s mind. Indeed, the Second Adam, and the Woman would get the job done!

As such is the case, black women we are being taught that our God has need of us. We must unite, pray, fast and call on God for as we can see, God is ready, willing and able to pour forth his Spirit and reveal signs, wonders and miracles to Black women today, just as he did to the Black woman prophetess Anna. Truly, let the praying, uniting, fasting begin!
