Pretenses by Keith Lee Johnson: Wonderful, wonderful novel. I am hoping that this is the beginning of a wonderful suspense/smystry series.

Thumper I've been trying to tell folks about Keith Lee Johnson since I read Pretenses, back before it was even published. He's a wonderful writer and I have no doubt that he's going to go far in the literary industry. His whole story behind his writing is fascinating, so I think he'd make a great candidate for an online chat.

I even re-read Pretenses this year when it came out and I hardly ever re-read books. And he's let me peek at some of what he's working on now, and I can't wait! I hate excerpts...ROFL.

Anywho, be sure to check the next in the series, Sugar & Spice. A lot of people don't realize that it's the follow-up because it came out first, but it's also VERY GOOD too. If you have it already, push it up on your list. Pretenses is still my favorite, but it was a bit hard to pick. I think Coco did it for me...lol.

I loved Coco Nimburu and Phoenix and am trying to talk Keith into doing a prequel and writing about Coco. She's one bad chick!!

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if his series are picked up for movies because they would be perfect.

Hello All,

Tee: Hey Tee. I'm with you all the way. I can't wait to read Sugar and Spice! Johnson's writing is TOO Tight! The book moves like a movie. It is very cinematic!

Coco!! I loved Coco! Yeah, I can stand to have some more Coco. And I don't usually go for sequels but with both Coco and Phoenix.
