Has anyone read the debut book by Ian Smith, The Blackbird Papers? I'd love to discuss this one!

Whenever you want to discuss, I'm ready. This book is definitely one of my favorites for the year. I think that is safe to say since the year is halfway finished. Sterling Bledsoe is a character I would like to see recurr in future books from Ian Smith

Hey Y'all

I read the book and would love to join y'all - I am writing a review of it and plan to meet the brother Ian Smith at a book signing -- I love his writing style and the twists at the end - WOW is all I can - I must admit that this is a hopefully new name to the genre of mystery.

Happy to hear others have read it --

The ending was something wasn't it. I had the pleasure of Meeting Ian Smith eariler this week and he's delightful. He shared a lot about himself and how he came to write while being a practicing physician. He also said that there are two more Sterling Bledoe mysteries in the works so I'm anxiously waiting for them. He also said that he has a romance novel as well. While romance isn't one of my favorite genre's I think I'm on the lookout for it as well. I like the style of writing Ian Smith has, and hopefully that will transcend genre classification.

Thanks -- Akaivy

I will be seeing the brother this week in my area for a signing - initially when we talked he thought I was in NYC - but I will tell him about this site and let me know that there is a rumble in the ground about his great work

Thanks for the heads up about the other Sterling Bledsoe titles - Mmmmmmm that should be yummy - why do I see Morris Chestnut or some other fine brother on screen as Sterling - hey maybe some succulent unknown - what a movie - there are sooooooooo many good characters why are movies suffering - oh well off on a tangent gonna hang for a while - peace

Don't let me get started on who could play Sterling. Morris is a good candidate, Tye Diggs is another. Or even Boris K? (Can't spell his last name)
