*Can there be anything more to the definition? Is life literature? How do we define integrity within a text? What is text? What is next in text? What is the relationship of literature to its own analysis? Is "ping-pong" merely a directional construct? How significant has "deconstructionism", as a selection of analysis, been within the African-American literary evolution? What is the place of literature in culture? What is the future of African-American literature? |

What was a/the previous, if indeed previous is the word to use, level? In the previous level(s), were there levels that were parallel or must we conceptualize and define these terms and processes within a hierarchiesl? |

"Is life literature?"
I definitely believe that literature is life which is why the concept is ever changing. It shifts according to the needs of the culture and culture itself is an ever shifting concept.

I'm also always interested in reading your infrequent input, Bleek. I agree that literature is a reflection of life. I would add that it can be even more provocative when it's not a reflection of life but a product of the imagination. |
