My novel - Live, Laugh, and Love the Golden Moments of Life - will have you grinning from ear to ear. There's a free preview at my blog - http://mjlore.blogspot.com - meanwhile, read the synopsis below to get you smiling.

Albert is about to end up lost in a comical world. One that is filled with soap-opera styled drama. And he doesnt even know it. When he tells his boss that he needs to talk over accepting the Boards challenge with Deb. He has no idea of whats about to happen. And, with one decision he begins a hilarious journey that will forever change him.

The drama begins when he goes to tell Deb about the wonderful opportunity hes been given. He explains how the Board wants him to relocate to Miami for one year and save the failing Miami office. He tells her how saving the office will make him look like a hero. Then he reminds her of just how good the Board treats heroes. But all Deb hears is an excuse. Just one more of Alberts reasons to delay her dream wedding again. And she quickly lets him know how she feels about it. And, their discussion about the offer turns into an all out war. That quickly lands Albert in the dog house.

The hilarious journey begins when he arrives at Pops Liberty City home. Pops life is nothing like Albert had imagined. In his mind, Pops was a frail old man who needed lots of peace and quiet and daily rubdowns with smelly medicated rubs. But, what he finds is an old man with a young humorous spirit. Pops believes that life is to be lived. And so, he currently has four women. And each one of them can do something special. Which allows him to rank them. And he hangs out on the street corner with his friends daily. He believes that a man should be a man. And he knows that actions speak louder than words. And he wont hesitate to get physical with somebody. Especially when hes tired of talking. And Pops neighbors seem to always be doing something strange.

The drama returns when Albert shows up at work. The employees at the Miami office are off the chain. They are having affairs. They are proudly using all kinds of illegal drugs. They are even vandalizing cars in the parking lot. And worst of all, some of the employees are engaged in company sabotage. Needless to say, Albert is in shock. The clients arent just leaving the Miami office. They are purposely being run off.

Albert is forever changed when he and his grandfather become friends. Their friendship allows them to tell each other things that they normally wouldnt. And as a result, Albert is able to get the real scoop on life. As Pops bluntly tells him what to really expect out of marriage. He even tells him the unadulterated truth about raising children. And he tells him just how quickly a womans love can turn to hate. But, most importantly he tells him some wonderfully dirty jokes. Like the one about the sick cat and the farmer. The kind of jokes that would make a sailor blush. And through this daily passing along of knowledge, Alberts views on life are forever changed.
