Hello All,

I just came off of a week of on-call, so I'm a little bit beat. But, I have a feeling that when I look at my check on Friday, I'll get over it. *smile*

You all know me, I was still reading. I just finished a book titled Bourbon Street. Isn't this a BEAUTIFUL cover? I do like a book with a good cover. Fortunately for me, the book between the covers are just as beautiful and tragic and intriguing. I strongly recommend it. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0786714328/aalbccom-20

Believe it or not, right now I'm reading Benilde Little's new book Who Does She Think She Is? And surprise, surprise its turning out to be a half decent read. But more on that later.

Recently I have gotten so many interesting new titles that I don't know when and where to start. I'm going to have plenty of time since I'm approaching the end of redecorating my whole house. And then I went and put a deposit on a dog, a female German Shepherd puppy. *big smile* I have always loved German Shepherds. I had one when I was a young boy. I always promised myself that I would get a dog when I got a house. I'm looking forward to it. Now when I want to see a bitch, I don't have to come to the discussion board to get a look at one. When mine finally arrive, I'll post pictures of her. Then you all can see what a real good looking bitch looks like. *LOL*

Anyway, my boy David Anthony Durham has a new book out. Has anyone read it?

Hello All,

Ah, see I'm gushing. Here's the first picture of my puppy. Her mama's name is Emma. Isn't she a beautiful dog. Albeit, you can't see the puppy's face yet. She was born on Tuesday. But, it's still a nice picture. I haven't decided on a name for her yet. If you have any suggestions, let me know. *smile*

German Shepherd, huh? How about Heidi or Gretchen? Or are those too obvious? Maybe you can take a cue from the Wagnerian operas. The 2 female heroines of these epics by this German composer were Brunhilde, and Sieglinde. Or - maybe you could just name her Spotisha...

How about naming her after one of the characters from your favorite author EJD? Not that I can remember any of their names of course . . . but "Fine Miss Thang with a banging body, long hair, tight eyes and designer clothes" comes to mind.
