Jesus is a myth, invented by the white man, to keep blacks docile and under control. All that energy you see in black churches could be used to raise us up, instead. To solve our problems in the present, instead of in the 'sweet by and by'.
If we're going to rise up and raise up, like Cosby says, we've got to acknowledge that many of our kids are lost and out of control. B on B crime has to stop and in fact B on anyone crime has to stop. Let's take back our neighborhoods. Let's institute a REAL 'neighborhood watch' and have two hundred black mommas descend on any kid who's making trouble, selling drugs, etc. Beat the stuffing out of him. Send him home with his tail between his legs.
We can do it if we get rid of that Jesus orientation which has done NOTHING for us for 400 years. |
