Tee, I hope that more of the James Patterson books are made into movies. The books are way better though. Who do you see as Alex? Sam Jackson? I don't see Denzel in the role really. He's got to be a nice mid-forties age range; not a 20 something hip hoper. I read Violet are Blue over the holidays--great thriller!

Tee responds:
Sandra, ummmm...not Denzel, but since I'm not a big television person, I'll have to think some more on this...I have a guy in mind, but I don't know his name. My hubby is the TV expert, so I'll ask him tomorrow. But as for Sampson, I can see someone like Ving or the guy who played in The Green Mile.

And I enjoyed Violets are Blue, but Four Blind Mice is BETTER...LOL, so hurry up and check it out so we can discuss.

Oh, there's a new author out now with a book that reminds me of James Patterson's writing...his name is Keith Lee Johnson. His heroine is a black FBI Special Agent (Phoenix Perry)...and her nemesis is a nympho-assasin for hire. Ahaha...that's my definition of her. Anywho, it's a pageturner, check it out.

Here's a sneak peek of it where he has 10 chapters online:

Morgan Freeman has always played Alex Cross, although he's much older than the character in the book.
What about the brother from NYPD?

Sandra...I was thinking of the guy who plays on Third Watch, the EMT guy. I could even see Blair Underwood in the role or even Lawrence Fishbourne as either...LOL

Oh, Geoff said Eric LaSalle for Alex. I can't picture him...

Tee & Yukio,

I don't see Alex as Blair or the Third Watch guy. Maybe the brother on NYPD but a little older. Yukio is right, I think Morgan is older than the character. I do agree that Lawrence Fishbourne would be a good choice.

Thanks for the recommendation Tee, I will check out Keith Johnson's book--you are such an enabler :-)

Have you read 1st To Die by Patterson?
