Hey all, you MUST check out the first African American Christian Fiction Anthology, Blessed Assurance. It is a five-story novella from authors Victoria Christopher Murray, Jacquelin Thomas, Patricia Haley, S. James Guitard, Terrance Johnson, and Maurice Gray modeled after stories in the Bible. The twist is that they've modernized the stories to bring them into today's timeframe.
I had the pleasure of attending the launch party in Beverly Hills this past Saturday and it was truly wonderful! And, so far, so good! I'm reading the stories out of order, but am loving the book so far. Check it out for yourselves.
