Hello
After a brief stay in the Hospital Ann passed away at home Friday May 23rd surrounded by her books and family . She fought a long fight yet was at peace in the end. We laid her to rest Tuesday May 27th. I will continue to visit but I don't know if it will be the same without my best friend. |

We had wondered where you were. We should have known it was something serious to keep you away. Don't mind us. You were seeing to something much more important.
Sorry man. I know it is rough. You guys sounded like you were very close and the struggle lasted a long time.
It won't be the same without her. But in spirit she will be with you every day. Think about the good times. Think about how you were there for her. Think of how she would have wanted you to carry on.
Don't be a stranger. Stay in touch. Keep on keepin on.

Carey,
You have my deepest sympathy. I knew of her struggle through your posts and I admired your relationship and her fortitude. Know that she will not be forgotten.
I pray your strength during this time and I have to preach the Christian message -- For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Romans 8:18
Regardless of your faith - my prayers are with you and your family.

Carey, It is times like these when words fail to express the sorrow and sadness that I feel. You know its been a pleasure, a real pleasure, having Miss Ann with us. We didn't always agree on books, but that was part of the fun. I am mourning the loss of a good friend. My love and prayers to you and your children. |
