Hello All,
So far, so good. A couple of days ago, I started a BAB, Leaving by Richard Dry. The book tells the stories of three generations of a family. As of right now, the book is off the HOOK! You all know that I'm scared of thick books, but Leaving reads fast. It's a tight book. |

LOL Thumper...you go ahead home slice. I loved the premise of the book and that it was told by a white author, but the fact that it was a super-BAB turned me off.
A friend of mine enjoyed it though.

Hello Tee,
I finished Leaving yesterday. It was an excellent novel. I wouldn't have been able to tell that the Dry, the author, was a white man until he falsely described the making of cornbread. Other than that slip, Dry did a remarkable job. |
