I'm done with this book by Suzan Lori-Parks and loved it. I really would like to discuss it with other readers if you're done. |

My copy came in at the Library and I too hope to get to this book sometime this week. I read an article that I believe you (Tee) posted here on AALBC that has me all the more interested in reading this author. I've heard nothing but good things about this book so I'm anxious |

Oh gosh...okay Sharon I have a copy of Getting Mother's Body so when you get ready to read it let me know...to heck with the review book that day it will just have to wait...hehe. ;) |

Yep akaivyleaf, I'm STILL waiting on the library to notify me. I might have to break down and visit the bookstore. ROFL. Last time I was there I was doing my mantra..."I will not buy a book, I will not buy a book, I will not buy but ONE book, I will not..."
But, count me in. I'm hoping to read it before BEA. :::sighing:::

I am really liking this book! It's taken me a while to get used to the change in narrator thing but I'm in the groove now. I'll probably be through with it tonight.

How'd you guys like GMB? I thought it was pretty good. I just wish there had been a little more resolution in the realtionships. Billy/mother. Dill/mother.
I also read Topdog/Underdog I thought it was great. |

I just started it (finally) and I'm loving it! It reminds me of Zora Neale Hurston's book...the title escapes me now.
