Probably so he could spend more time with his family???) Now Bama not only got a spot to fill, but he is short one Latino--this is the reward they get for supporting him. But Hillary fought him tooth and nail and gets a payoff. Lesson--the way to Obama's heart is to kick him in the butt. Posted on Monday, January 05, 2009 - 02:13 pm:        The explanation Richardson gave was that he was under investigation because one of the big donors to his campaign was later awarded a contract for a job. Richardson claims there was nothing underhanded about it, but that he didn't want to cause Obama any problems so he thought it best to voluntarily rescind his acceptance of the Secretary of Commerce position.
