As the world turns, sometimes we find ourselves on the receiving. Cagedbird, it your turn to write a reply. Can you answer the call?

A Rope Of Hope

Your words did not come
Your smile did not grace my face
I am left to dream
To Hope

Moisture from your breath
Watering my soul
Narcosis-Hypnosis
You - running through my veins

I wait, the heart grows
Palpitations, proliferation, can you hear it
Can you hear me, speak that I may know
Out of control, which way do I go

Driving on lust, hearts going to bust
An antidote - you
You can ease the pain
Speak the prescription, say my name

Procrastinate?
Gloom looms, gravitates
Comes - come
If late - my fate
Fatality
Me
Me!

Pride
I can no longer hide
Shame now escapes me
Where will I go

Breath shallows, going down
Cast me a rope
Hope
You!

Thanks! I will work on this for the weekend!
I like a challenge :-) Will send the reply in your box! Have a good one, Carey.
Got this in my e-mail 2day:

"Hi Eve,

It's pretty basic and straightforward and I can find no reason not to publish it in our poetry journal. Thanks for your contribution."

Wait a minute, gym shoes. I can throw my slop on the board, but you want to hit my box. What, am not not good enough to be seen with you in public *lol*.

I mean, what's this box mess. I know we have some bedtime secrets but.... *wink*

Seriously, you call me out on the board, but can't show yours?

Like you said, we could be a tight duo, if you'd only act right *smile*.

Now remember what you said "ain't no shame in my game". Yep, you borrowed it and you said it.

I am sending you MY poem in YOUR box, like I said. Feel free 2 post both poems or JUST her poem on YOUR blog. I will not be posting anymore over here til I get back in Nov. The title of my poem is, "Hold On, I'm Coming!" Let me know IF you would like to have her as your guest poet 4 NOV. BON VOYAGE!

***************************************

Resuscitation

As an eclipse
My feelings stood silent
Hidden deep in sorrow

Resuscitation
Gently massaged
Away lingering teardrops which stained
Every element of my being

Like a nasty fall day
Emptiness wanted to stay...
No way!

Racing against the clock
I've broken into cold sweat
Chasing sweet whispers
Imagining the UN imaginable

Heartbeat within trembles
Feeling Ora's of tantalizing,
Electrifying, gratifying, kisses
Followed so gentled by fingertip caresses,
Secretly wondering....all lifetime possibilities

You believe in dreams
I heard the echo's
I believe in visions

Could our names be etched amongst the stars?
