Hello Thanks, cagedbird. I've restructured it a bit because I wasn't sure if most caught the elements thang (Water, Gold/Silver and Iron). I could have even come a little stronger with the title *wink*. I see our site is asking for submission. They are yet to post my "Voyeur" even though they've accepted it. Do you remember that one? I have several others but don't want to throw them their way if they are just going to sit on them. They said it will be viewed by millions but that can't happen if they are sitting in someone's desk. | ||

Hello Cagedbird, I had a nice time in the Atl. The only thang missing was you. All the other ingredients were there; food fun and family. Hey, (a side note) do you like Robin Thicke? Anyway, in my poem Voyeur, I was actually thinking of a women. I know you are a Luther fan, do you remember one of his songs that talked of a secret lover? Well, in that song he mentioned that she didn't know that he loved her. That song inspired "Voyeur". I was taken in by this one women's beauty; her pleasing qualities but she didn't belong to me ...sooooooo Voyeur I am guilty I am a Voyeur I call her name ... Inspiration Am I really guilty? Heart... What is my crime I am a Voyeur Gratified by observing I steal a glance, a moment Her style, her smile, her flow, she goes She leaves... Satisfaction Thief...? She GIVES me stimulation Sensations I own this joy Permission is absent, consent not desired Fear invades me If she knew... I enjoy her I am guilty I am a Voyeur She is my punishment and my consolation My prize My feelings, my pain; I own Her friendship is but a dream I am a Voyeur C | ||
