What an inane explanation, crissy boy.

Big Brown, reportedly owned by the UPS congolmerate, was treated like a "product" instead of a race horse in the true tradition of the sport. His stud rights were sold like stock shares. His trainer handled him like a programmed animatron instead of a nag, and the poor ol oater just ran out of steam. Hee-Haw.

Horse races have been fixed since the dawn of time to take advantage of the suckers laying down their hard earned mean green.

How much did you get taken for, Neekygirl?

A fixed horse race is not at the core of the Big Brown debacle.

(You sound like a good candidate for the pigeon drop. When do you make your weekly trip to the bank?)

Big Brown is owned by a conglomerate. He's named after UPS' big brown trucks. His trainer naturally thinks the jockey is partially at fault. I don't believe the fix was in.
What would the jockey have to gain besides having his life and career jeopardized.
