We sure do miss KG here in the Twin Cities. It was a travesty the way he was treated by management. Thus, even though after many years living in Boston during the Bird era and swearing to never ever ever support the team, I'm gonna have to go with the Celtics for Kevin's sake. |

Yvettep, I didn't know you were a flatlander....too! I have vewry close friends in the Twin Cities...one works in City Government....small world. I also have a nephew that has just signed with Iowa State....yeah...I'm not really a Cyclone fan but like you, I gotta change some things. I want Boston to win but it's a big hurdle. Koby is the best player on the planet...hands down. But KG is tough....real tough....well.....over a hundred million tough...huh...what does that say. Awwwwwww......are you serious? Ha! Ha! Ha! Yeah, KG is a great ball player. No doubt. I've always liked him. It's been a while since the last Lakers vs Celtic championship rivalry. One that is a classic in pro ball. I'm on the West Coast....SoCal to be exact, so I gotta role with the Lakers.

I'm pulling for the Celtics. Not only are they an East coast team, but their coach Doc Rivers is from my home town, the son of 2 very good friends of mine - naturally.  |

Shhhh! [looking over both shoulders] I gotta be careful where I say this cause folks around here are in a lakers frenezy . . . but . . . Ph*ck Kobe! Never liked the punk and probably never will which is why I just CAN'T pull for the lakers. I wish I could - really - cause I enjoy watching Gasol [they wouldn't be in it without him], Fisher, Farmar and a couple others.
OTOH I like Garnett and Pierce too . . . but . . . I just CAN'T pull for no Boston!!!

I'm not ashamed of my age or the fact that we sometimes speak/write. How my original post in here is about YOU though I just don't know. Everything ain't about YOU Carey! All I'm saying is that I don't like Mr. Pass The Ball Please Kobe, although he did finally get better at that but too little too late for me. I just don't like the man. He came up in here thinking he was The Man and I just didn't see it. Plus, I like Shaq and while I didn't really follow what all went down I didn't like losing Shaq and keeping the punk.
