CHICAGO - A childhood friend of the alleged victim in the R. Kelly child pornography case said she recognizes her longtime friend as the one in the explicit video at the center of the case.

Simha Jamison testified Wednesday that she and the alleged victim were best friends for about ten years until their junior year in high school.
Jamison, 24, said she and her friend visited the R&B star at his recording studio and at a Chicago basketball court dozens of times starting when they were about 12.
They also visited the home where authorities say the sex tape was filmed, she said.
Defense attorneys plan to cross-examine Jamison.
Kelly has pleaded not guilty to charges that accuse him of videotaping himself having sex with an underaged girl. |

It is my understanding that the young woman claims it is not her. This trial will go nowhere. Look soon for another multi-part installment of the Closet video soap opera and a victory tour where R is greeted by throngs of joyous young female fans. Well, I guess we can hope that perhaps he has been engaging in dog fights or has failed to pay his taxes... |

"You can't tell by looking at a person's vagina how old they are, can you?" he asks, then takes a stab at answering his own question: "I don't think you can." Once it's well-established that Jamison didn't pay much attention to the alleged victim's crotch and torso, Adam Jr. asks whether Jamison has seen a "Waymon Brothers" movie called Little Man. "They took the head of Marlon Waymons and put it on a midget, and it looked real, didn't it?" Adam Jr. exclaims, emphasizing the last two words for maximum "gotcha" effect. Jamison looks at him like he's a lunatic or, at least, an astoundingly bad film critic. "Not reeeally," she says, her voice lilting in disbelief as the courtroom breaks up. Congratulations to the Waymon Brothers: This is the first time Little Man has generated laughter...
