Reminds me of way back when I was in high school and swimming was a mandatory course, and how all of us black girls hoped to we would have it as our last class so we wouldn't have to go around with nappy heads the rest of the day. No matter how much we tried, we couldn't avoid getting our hair wet. I've never had an affinity for bodies of water, never even gone on a cruise. Leo that I am, I just like lounging around in the sun. |

We got a community pool around the corner from me. It be full of niggas in the summer all standing around in the shallow part splashing water on each other.
