A Willie Horton Hit on Obama?
An old right-wing attack dog has returned with a new target: Barack Obama.
Starting Tuesday, a group of conservative activists led by Floyd Brown, author of the famous Willie Horton ad used so effectively against Michael Dukakis in 1988, will begin a campaign to tar Obama as weak on crime and terrorism, a strategy that aims to upend Obama's relatively strong reputation among Republican voters.

"Controversial Figures" In Obama Orbit Featured In New NCRP Ad
The North Carolina Republican Party will unveil a 30-second ad tomorrow that attacks Democratic gubernatorial candidates Beverly Perdue and Richard Moore for endorsing Barack Obama. The ad, per the party, will reference "controversial figures from Barack Obama's past" and raise the question of the candidates' "judgment" in supporting him.

Off topic: Considering Pennsylvania's "dirty little secret", a mere ten-point loss to a white candidate in Pennsylvania is really quite extraordinary. Despite what is being widely reported, Pennsylvania and Florida have two things in common. They both lead the nation in old people, yes, with Florida coming in at number 1 and Pennsylvania number 2 but they also have something else in common. Florida leads the nation in hate groups, while Pennsylvania comes in at--you guessed it--no. 2. http://www.borg.com/~jdgdread/racism/list.htm Senator Obama's ability to come within ten points (and down from 30) in a state like Pennsylvania, imo, should be the no. 1 story coming out of last night's race. Of course that would mean that the media would have to do its job and expose Pennsylvania for what it really is: the other Redneck Riviera.
