Back in the day celebrity handlers used to try to keep superstars "single" as long as possible.
Better to fuel the romantic fantasies of their fans. It's different nowadays. All the top stars are married or seriously involved, ie Madonna, Janet Jackson, Usher, Will Smith... |

Two people marry. Both of them have careers that keep them away from each other months at a time. Both of them are always meeting fabulous people and being hit on. Both of them have all the morals of an alleycat or they wouldn't be where they were.
Typical Hollyweird "romance" served up for the idiots who have to believe there is true love.
The only true love is love of self.
File under Liz and Dick, Bobbie and Whitney, etc etc
They're probably both gay and need to have something to cover.

Why is it so hard to believe that Jay and Bey could actually dig each other?? They have a lot in common and they've been together for 5 years. If they were marrying just for appearances, then they would've had a big public lavish wedding instead of a small private one. They could both do a lot worse, or do they have to worry about each other being gold diggers. I think they're compatible and that their marriage has just as good as chance of lasting as anyone elses. |

For once I have to agree with you Cynique. Are we that cynical and unbelieving of two Black ppl loving one another that we are questioning there motives for being together. For some reason we are not that cynical and unbelieving of White relationships which in many cases are just as false.
Maybe with all the innundation of BM/non BF relationships that are constantly shoved down our throats in the media we've become jaded of the Black ones.
