Singer Sean Levert Dies at 39
Sean Levert has died after a medical emergency in jail.
Levert, 39, was taken from the Cuyahoga County jail in Cleveland on Sunday night after suffering from high blood pressure and hallucinations, but died within the hour at Lutheran Hospital.
Cuyahoga County jail, warden Kevin McDonough said Levert had been sick and guards were watching him at the jail's regular cellblock because he had been acting strangely.
"There was nothing that would show any of this," McDonough said. "He had an illness while he was here and it turned into an emergency at that time."
Last week Sean was sentenced to one year and 10 months in jail for failing to pay $85,000 in child support.
Sean was the second brother of the R&B trio LeVert to pass away. Gerald Levert was 40 when he died in 2006 of an accidental mix of prescription and over-the-counter drugs.

The parents must be devastated.
How tragic: you go to prison for failure to pay child support and end up dying while incarcerated. I feel bad for his child(ren) too.

How tragic: you go to prison for failure to pay child support and end up dying while incarcerated. I feel bad for his child(ren) too.
(This is one reason why black people are so reluctant to back up the authorities and see neighbors, friends, relatives jugged when they ought to be.
Ain't no guarentee you will come out--people die up in jail violently, etc. All the time. |

I still smell a rat. he was havng medical
problems in jail but nobody noticed til
he had died.

Since when wasn't "darkness" the absence of light, and since when didn't light illuminate and exult? I am not talking about "black" or "white". |

when she said she stop using the word 'dark'
to denote evil--she also stopped saying
'its a black day' when storm clouds gather)

this is what I mean by critical thinking skills
If somethng is "bad" then why not juss call
it "bad?
why drag black, dark into it?
In east africa the "black crow" is considered a
sign of very good luck
they even hav several religins devoted to Crows
the "white dove" is a sign of disease

Because you and Maya Angelou don't dictate to me what adjectives I use. Darkness is not a synonym for black or is light a synonym for white. When the sun sets, it's dark, and when it comes up it's light, - both of these states are natural phenomenons. |

Not to make "light" of this, my deepest regrets goes out to the LeVert family, but for a moment I was thinking this supported my suspicion that dé·jà vu is a real phenomenon; one that's a result, imo, of there being more than one earth in the universe with possibly another me and you on each one of them..WOW. But then I read further and realized that *Sean* LeVert is a different brother.

it is a sad for the dad to have to see two sons die. i do wonder if this would have happened if he had paid his child support? |
