Someone in the Clinton campaign or a Clinton support group will float a huge damaging "LIE" about Obama just before the Pennsylvania primary. At that point, it will be too late for those voters to realize their mistake in voting for Hillary because they will have already voted by the time that lie is debunked by the media.

...Probably so.

Slightly off topic: What I don't understand is why Obama needs blue-collar white voters so badly, all of a sudden. His winning formula has been the Blk vote and the upper class white vote; which is, by all accounts, a winning formula that's remained unabated and intact. His voters are still behind him according to the polls, and he is by all accounts still winning. So the notion that he needs blue-collar white voters right now to win the primaries is pure spin. And, with his multiracial experience and working class background, nobody can accurately predict how well a smooth and charismatic guy like Obama will do with lower income white voters against McCain in the general; so if the spin is designed to sway super delegates it's probably useless.

The Clinton camp doesn't have to do anything but sit back and let Jeremiah Wright's bigotry do its work. Now his derogatory comments about Italians and Jews are coming out.

Senator Obama's "winning formula" only works in certain states during the primaries. There are not enough "Obama voters" in places like Pennyslvania, West Virginia, etc where white Reagan Democrats are dominate.

Blue collar workers are also the majority of the GOP. So if Senator Obama hopes to get to the White House he'll have to win over millions of the lunch bucket crowd, whom believe:
a) He is a Muslim
b) He is Christian, but way too liberal
c) He got where he is because of Affirmative Action

HRC is drawing the working class voters during the primaries, but should she run against McCain those voters will mostly likely vote for JM.

Rev Wright does appear to be doing Senator Obama more harm than good. The Los Angeles Times has dug up some old columns Rev Wright and company wrote that on the surface sound to be anti-Israel. Criticizing Israel is a no-no in America. Never that.

(Double standard. Obama has never said any of these things.

The racists and white surpremecists have finally found their excuse to down him.

One thing for real now--all you Negroes talking about putting race aside and qualifications will have to eat crow--a black crow at that.

(Am I responsible for the reprehenisble things you say? Is a Catholic going to have to disavow the Pope for the reprehensible things he said?

Cynique and the white racists finally have their excuse for what they were going to do anyway.

Black ministers better watch it--now white folks are trying to tell them what they better say in their pulpits.

By the way, the Clintons have also vowed to wage a credentials fight in Denver.

The only thing that will stop a train wreck is for all the Superdelegates to declare for Obama and shut them down--or for Obama to fall on his sword for the "Good of the Party"

It's probably the best strategy for Obama, downplaying a win in Pennsylvania; but I can see him doing a lot better in Pennsylvania than most people expect. Philly is SATURATED with colleges and large universities, and it's surrounded by suburbs where lots of Obama voters roam. And in Philly the Hispanics (and Asians) are a great deal different from Hispanics elsewhere. Here, Blacks and Hispanics live and work in the same neighborhoods, younger Blacks are fluent in Spanish, and the two groups have been pretty much the same, culturally, for decades. As for the blue-collar whites in Pennsylvania, they are suffering badly from huge lay-offs like Ohio, but the white folks here are more likely to go with the person they TRUST the most (it's in their DNA); and as a woman, regrettably, that infamous Sniper Fire story could have a greater impact on Hillary’s chances in Pennsylvania than perhaps Obama's pastor/sermon/drip drop problems will have on Obama with Obama being a man. Sad, but in rural Pennsylvania, esp., folks here are likelier to hold something like trust against a woman, much more than they would against a man.

So I think Barack is smart to downplay Pennsylvania BUT if he makes a push to at least keep the margin of victory close, I wouldn’t count him out AT ALL.

(I just don't understand why she told that lie. It was unnecessary.

I think this is wearing her out. Obama sounds tired, too.

It really kills you when people say what you don't want to hear doesn't, chrishayden? What would you do if you couldn't link me with white racists in your pathetic attempts to obscure the truth.

All HRC had to say was "I flew into a war zone." Not sure why she decided to fudge. The pictures of her in fatigues surrounded my the military could do her some good.

Like James Carville said, if Senator Obama wins Pennsylvania would it would be over and done for the Clintons.

Unfortunately, Obama has to walk a very fine line in order to win anything. He's got to appeal to almost every constituency. Oddly enough, this (challenge) is testing his ability to do exactly what he said he would do should he become president, and that's "bring the country together". That's the price you pay for living in "this" America.

Also, though still a tough road, the white folks in the media just can't let Jeremiah Wright go. In direct regard to Pennsylvania, I know that landscape very well, and Barack Obama's biggest challenge there may boil down to winning over the ol' "Frank Rizzo" crowd.
