Regardless of how things go on March 4th, the Clinton strategists have initiated a subtle campaign to manipulate and subvert the Democratic electorate, delegates and party leaders (and the entire candidate selection process) into choosing her over Obama. Should she succeed, and then be crushed by McCain, then the 2012 election may well be the Republicans vs. the Independents. This scenario is quite plausible, as black Americans, young people and many if not most minorities will look upon her with great disdain and complete disaffection. This ain't the "Fear Bomb" folks; but it could be the beginning of the end of the Democratic party. A great opportunity to move forward may soon be squandered into oblivion. |

Been reading the blogs again? People of your generation have a certain mentality; you always filter your thoughts through scenarios that are grounded in the exciting plots of comic books or movies or TV shows or video games. There always has to be the good guys and the bad guys, and the bad guys are always a part of a sinister conspiracy that an action hero has to destroy. Grow up. |

Nah. My generation? Which one? Make me laugh, too. It will certainly be interesting to see what kind of political savvy you really have. As far as the Republicans are concerned, they are absolutely giddy over the thrashing that Obama's taking from Hillary. But in the end, it may all come down to the proverbial "I told you so." and ol' Murphy's Law. Se la vi.

I have been saying over and over that the "no-holds-barred" hostilities igniting the race between Hillary and Barak is bad for the Democratic party because these 2 are providing grist for the Republican mill, giving McCain material to use against the Democratic candidate whomever this turns out to be. C'est La Vie. |

(This has been the plan all along. Many things went wrong with Obama, but his acting like he had it sewed up and refusing to campaign negatively while the Clintons ripped his ass did him in.

Why should people rot if they are smart enough to take advantage of someone else's overconfidence? This is what's know as being shrewd. You folks are really miffed that Hillary didn't just lay down like a rug for Obama to walk on just because he has been anointed by the great unwashed masses, and the scenario calls for nobody to rock the boat. Still looking for that "man on the white horse" to save your asses, and death to anybody who rains on your little parade. pitiful. This presidential race is a field day for cynics.  |
