Don't be so sure. The American judicial system appears to be quite litigous in nature. Some crackhead will read about this in the States and attempt such. If the crackhead or speedfreak wins, prepare for an onslaught of these types of lawsuits. I can assure you that the money awarded in these lawsuits will make this woman's paltry '50,000 dollars award seem like chump change. The only 'bright' side I can see in this moronic lawsuit, is that the burden of paying for the drug addicts 'rehabilitation' will be that of the addicts if they win these lawsuits. |
