Hello

I am getting my jump on the new Christmas movies. Well, not really Christams flicks but ...yu know. I just saw Cadilac Records. Let me do this: Denzel -- Jeffrey Wright -- Denzel -- Jeffrey Wright, it's Jeffrey wright by a nose, this man can act. For my money I'll take him over Terrence Howard, Samuel Jackson, Morgan Freeman, Lawrence Fishburn and yes, Denzel. If your thinking about Cadialc Records and expect Beyounce to be the star, you might be disappointed. Don't get me wrong, she blows Etta James's "At Last", oh yeah, she kills it but see doesn't even appear in until the last half of the movie. She does her thang but Imo, this was Jeffrey Wright's show. The whole cast was great...well, I am not a big fan of Cedric The Entertainer. He's funny and everythang but I never can get pass Cedric. He's not an actor, he's a comedian and his presence dilutes the movie.

I went to the movie with my sister and my girl. They thought it was better than last year's Dream Girls. Although the music was a central theme, the movie was much more. I enjoyed it from start to finish.

Btw, for all the Beyounce fans, she does have a bathtub scene.

I think Brad Pitt is next up on the list and then Ms Jolie.

I don't know why so many were surprised when Clint Eastwood didn't get a Golden Globe nod.
We've all seen Dirty Harry and now they tried to hit us with the dirty old white guy named Harry. See, they flipped the script and had his old ass arguing with a gang of asians or some ethnic group. They should have named it "Old Dirty Harry In The Hood". That storyline is played but they must have been looking at the receipts from all those Rocky flicks. The storyline is simple and has proven to be a cash cow. Lets see, undersized white guy beats dark skinned adversaries. Yep....Ching Ching. That's the kind of movie that I sneak in after having seen the one I paid for. Now come on, don't tell me you've never done that :-). You know how you sort of linger around or take that long bathroom break. Okay okay, now am about to date myself. Of course none of you have piled in the trunk of a car to see a drive-in movie. Yes sir, greasy chicken and everythang. Am done, yawl ain't feelin' me....or are you?
