Hey you two. What's up? Troy, I haven't gotten an email from you about dinner. I've been in the ATL all week and loving it! Can't do Thurs now--have a signing around dinnertime, but Friday is open. Troy, I emailed you my cell number, did you get it? |

I thought we'd hook up before the reception. I'm not staying at the hotel, so I'll be leaving to change for the reception. Things begin pretty early Saturday, so I don't plan on being out late on Friday.
Carey told me he wasn't going to make it. |

Yeah, Diva, I could kill someone too. Well, it's not because of traffic. See, I was thinking about going down to ATL, for the "thang". A few of my friends from this board are going to be there and I have family there. Anyway, after talking to one of my friends (A_womon) and saying we could hang a little, they said they were soooooo busy signing books and doing the author thang I thought I'd stay at home. I just spoke with another friend (Sisgal) and she is pumped and ready to go. This women is on fire. She lives close to ATL but has decided to stay close to the action. Got her a Hotel Room and everythang. Even said I could sleep in her room (NOT)  . But here's the deal, A_womon acted like I couldn't hang with the A-list people. I just wanted to see how they do it, you know, big and little people all there for the same purpose, but nooooo, I ain't got a book so stay away. Sh*t, I got a book it's just not on paper...yet. I might of wanted to see if I belonged, know what I mean? A_womon just be hatin'. But on the real, they all talk about Troy being a plan old good guy. Either he is paying them or he must be okay. See, I even could have shadowed him. Yeah, we could have done the Thumper's Corner thang. Oh well, maybe next time. I did tell Sisgal to take some pictures and send a few my way, then at least I can get a few of the vapors.

Believe it or not, I was considering making this Atlanta event since several members of my book club will be attending, including my daughter, but - I waited too late, trying to get up to full speed health-wise after my surgery.
Oh, well, I wish they'd have this book bash in Chicago one of these times.  |

Where is Indy located anyway, what state? There's no reason to go Indiana other than to go through it.
I would say something about my experiences in Indiana but I don't want child services at my door. Isn't there a statue of limitations on ahh, you know, Pitty Pat? Thump, tell mom I said hey.
For real though, I once went to a Kentucky Fried Chicken in Peru, Indiana and they said they didn't have any chicken. Swear fo god I ain't lying. I ain't saying the klan lives there but they was sure parked for a minute.
Yvette and Thump, you two can just forget about anything of any importance coming to that Hay-Stack. I'd rather take home a bag of frog spit . |
