Hello Troy
Some time ago the board was open to anyone that wanted to post without registering or entering a password. I don't quite remember the impetus behind the change but have you ever considered opening it up to the public, even for a short basis? I can visionalize the rewards but I can also assume you know the payoff *smile*. I know I was hesitant to come aboard when you first implimented the change as many others were, yet, all came back and today we ae here. I just thought...maybe....just maybe....maybe if the floodgates were opened.....a new.....ahhhh....wealth of .....of.....ahhh....talent....yeah, talented would come forth.

Carey I can't open the board up to the public.
Evil people on the net have automated programs that post spam on the boards.
Even today roughly 49 out of 50 new registrations for spammers. This is a paim by it self making the registration process slower.
i can invoke software to force everyone to type in the crazy number letter combos but that would just be a pain for the regular users...
Sorry. But in many respects the internet is a very bad place.... |
