Hi from Kola Boof.
First, I'm glad to announce that thanks to
the wonderful Aton Edwards, my friend in NYC
--Harry Belafonte has agreed to be Honorary
Chairman of the SSPP, over which I am the
National Chairwoman for the United States.
Second, I'm sorry to say that Mr. Belafonte
has been ill lately and that I personally feel
he could use some "prayers" of hoped for resilience
from all of us those who care for him.
In the past, I have criticized Mr. Belafonte
terribly, but I am glad now to see myself with
yet another "Mahdi Ka" (great father) in my
life.
I love him very much.
To wit...
Who could imagine Harry Belafonte being
"intimdated" to meet Kola Boof? How silly!
So I had to "tear up" when Aton Edwards told
me that he'd heard that I'm a "total •••••"
and was so shocked to find that I'm "a
total sweetheart." 
It's amazing how telling one's opinion of
certain issues--is confused with WHO someone is
and
I've been enjoying people finally
getting to know me as a person
first---before
asking my honest opinion
on something
(which is usually brutal).
I have learned that Americans hate
it when you tell the truth.
This is a nation of illusions.
Additionally, Francis Bok is now the
President of the SSPP USA branch and I
report directly to him.
Francis came out to Los Angeles Friday and
we did a "rally tour" at Millken Private
School in Beverly Hills, a very wonderful
Jewish middle/high school.
I have never been as moved by people's caring
for the situation in Sudan as I was Friday.
We did the Keynote Address together.
These Jewish school students have spent the
last 8 years raising THOUSANDS of dollars for
Darfur Relief and doing everything in their
power to fight for South Sudan's independence.
It was very humbling for me.
The people were AMAZED at how TALL we are!
LOL! Francis told them "Kola's a shorty".
Francis Bok, of course, was a slave in Sudan
from age 7 to 17 (is now 29)...so he talked
about being from the SOUTH while I talked
about being an Arab mulatto from the NORTH
and how the "mentality" of the evil Arabs is manifested and turned on Blacks for the
greed and supremacy of the Arab Muslim Imperialist Empire.
Francis and I have decided to write a
book together called "So Let It Be Written,
So Let It Be Done."
We had a fabulous time and I remain
SO IMPRESSED with Francis Bok--he's one
of my favorite people in the world and
a true brother.
We're supposed to be doing
NPR in a few months--we officially
launch SSPP in NYC in September.

People wanting actual photos of the
Francis Bok-Kola Boof event can get
them from Millken Community School.
310-440-3500 ask for Diane Weiz.
Many photos were taken of us together,
but I don't have them, nor do I take
photos of my events now that I'm over
40. You have to get PICS from the venues
(for those who would email me asking for
them).
