In another thread, Emanuel mentioned Philip Roth's "Portnoy's Complaint", a book I read (translation: skimmed through for the naughty bits) while at my godmother's house when I was 8 or 9 years old. Around that same time, I also read "The Happy Hooker" and a few Iceberg Slim books, from Godma's shelves.

Anybody else read books they were waaaaaaaaay too be young to be reading?

Back in my adolescent days, me and my friends were always passing around pulp fiction books with pages "dog-eared" to make the juicy parts easer to find. One, in particular, I remember was entitled "God's Little Acre," by Erskine Caldwell.

LOL @ FK! Oh, there were many! And, like Cynique, these books made their rounds. But hey--at least we were reading, right? Nowadays I guess kids just forward or text each other racy URLs...
