Kevan Brown is putting together a very exciting documentary. He's a young Af Amer up and coming film maker who is putting together this documentary. I believe that it will take him to the next level. We should celebrate creative brothers like Kevan for actually getting out there, and doing something to make his dreams of becoming a film maker come true. He's not sitting on his hands, waiting for a handout or a grant, he's making films!

Sorry to inform you, but there exist no concerted, unified effort by urban lit to destroy mainstream lit! LOL

Obviously, Urban Lit speaks to a new generation. And this new generation is utilizing new media outlets to tell stories. Sorry, but we live in the Google, Facebook, Myspace, U Tube era. This is an era where digital cameras, and digital editing media is available to us all. When Barak Obama uses this new media, he's reaching out to a new generation, and getting people excited. When Kaven does it, it's a concerted effort by the evil forces of Urban Lit to bring Armageddon to the publishing world. LMAO
