AALBC best selling books of 2007

Of the 40 books I included on this best sellers list; Zane's name is on 9 of them!
This is really remarkable considering I sold almost 1,900 different titles last year.
The next author Dr. Jawanza Kunjufu has 4 titles on the list (obviously people are very concerned about Black boy's education in this country -- and rightly so). Kunjufu's sales are tremendous, but Zane is just off the chain.
The number #1 individual title this year is Ms. Steffans Confessions of a Video Vixen. It is also AALBC.com's all time best selling book. It was the 1# selling book in 2006 (http://www.aalbc.com/books/2006_by_month.htm) and would havew easily been the number #1 selling book in 2005 (http://www.aalbc.com/books/2006_by_month.htm) if it had come out earlier than June of '05.
Maya Angelou's titles have done quite well this year. She has two titles on this year's best sellers list.
Dr. Angelou is probably the only person whose child has also appeared on the same best sellers list. Guy Johnson's Echoes of a Distant Summer pubed in 2002 is on the list with his mom's titles.
I just scanned the lists again and see that Maya is also the only author on the 2007 list that also appeares on our first bestsellers list from 1998: http://www.aalbc.com/books/1998by.htm.
