I've known this for years.
When my husband and I were in Nepal in 2002 we came across some "apostles" of Ghandi and they used these racist terms to describe blacks (my husband was black, but I am Yemenese).
When we questioned the head of the organization he made sweeping excuses but he showed some "Nepalian" documents of Ghandi speeches and they were littered with racist slurs against blacks and they came straight from Ghandi's mouth.
This is why I have never argued with Kola Boof's argument that blacks don't have any "brown brothers and sisters" and that they should stop expecting faux solidarity with people of color, because she's right, if you travel the world you will find that there is no affection for black people.
In my country Yemen we have blacks and they are generally regarded the same as rats. It's like that everywhere I've been, but blacks seem to have this need to claim everyone as a family member.

Blacks are as much humans and good as anybodyelse. But I agree with you that the blacks have no admiration and affection in any part of the world. But it does not mean that they should be mistreated and called, MONKEYS, which was the usual remark used by Ku Klux Gandhi. Black contribution to sports and music is known to everybody and we all know that they are good singers and athletes.
Ku Klux Gandhi was an energetic african hater and for him, blacks were NOT humans. In the presence of these remarks, why is he considered to be a "NON VIOLENT MAN" and a "MAN OF PEACE" ??
The history tells lies about Ku Klux Gandhi when it says that he was a good man and he worked for the "liberation" !!!!! ( ha ha ha ha) for the blacks in south africa.
The fact is that Ku Klux Gandhi was a fascist and evil. This is how he should be remembered.
