Thanks for sharing - the cartoon is fab. But it's a shame that we even need to disseminate these types of messages within the Black community. Beyond sad that someone feels the need to tell grown people to brush their teeth, wear deo and read a book and that it needs to be broadcast on BET. What does it say about us as a people :-(

The President don't read books. Republicans believe real men don't read books. Maybe only black people read books.

That makes it bad behavior, don't it?

What does the President (who BTW is a multi-millionaire that didn't get there by being stupid) have to do with the fact that the Black community is largely illiterate and needs to be told simple things like take care of your own damn children? That's people like ChrisHayden's problem, they would rather make lame excuses such as - well Boone Pickens and Warren Buffett and the President of the United States doesn't read so why should I? Because you're broke dumbass and you can't get a job, that's why!!! You think it's better to perpetuate the hopelessness of poverty.

Reading a book will not help you get a job. Getting a job will not help you get rich.

Being born rich with a rich daddy and his friends who can bail you out every time you fall on your face--our current President--of course everybody cannot count on this.

You got to know how to make money. I have known some ignorant, barely educated Negroes who, when you counted up their assets, were millionaires.

Even you could be one if you weren't so twisted--

Thanks for your blessings Chris, I am working on it. But you still shouldn't equate what's going on with the Black community with what's going on in politics. Politicians and government officials come and go, but the Black community is a living organism that is here to stay. We must do better collectively and this can only be achieved thru individual betterment.
