My name is Christopher John Farley and I'm the author of a new novel entitled "Kingston by Starlight." It's a work of fiction set in 18th century Jamaica. My book was picked by Essence magazine as one of the three best beach reads of the summer and O: The Oprah Magazine called it a work of "epic imagination." I hope you check out my book and spread the word--"Kingston by Starlight" will take you on an adventure.

I've having a book reading this week and I'd like to invite you. The details are below.

What: A book reading
Where: Rocky Sullivan's
129 Lexington Ave, New York, NY
When: Wednesday, July 13, 8:00pm
Phone: (212) 725-3871

Christopher John Farley's new novel, "Kingston By Starlight," is in bookstores NOW. Come hear his fictionalized take on real-life pirate Anne Bonny. Travel back to 18th century Jamaica as Farley reads from this lyrical novel, which Frank McCourt ("Angela's Ashes") called "superbly poetic" and Edwidge Danticat ("The Dew Breaker") deemed "extraordinary."

We look forward to seeing you!

Hey everybody...I just finished reading this great book by Mary B. Morrison called "Somebody's Gotta Be On Top," and I heard she's doing a book signing right here in Jacksonville for her new one in a few weeks! It's on August 4th at 7 at the Books-a-Million in Regency Park, and if you like kinda racy, romancy, but true-to-life books you should definitely check her out. The new book, "Nothing Has Ever Felt Lie This," is supposed to be really good! See you there!
