Hey folks, this is for those living in the Los Angeles area and beyond... I'd like to remind you that my internet radio show co-host and Northern California novelist Chandra Adams will have a book signing at Smiley's Books in Carson,CA this coming Sunday, July 16th from 4:00pm-5:00pm. Her book is entitled 'Shades of Retribution' and for those of you who don't know what the plot's all about, let me describe it in my own words: Great! The story is about three black women who decide to take the issue of the black male shortage in their own hands. Set in the Bay Area, the tale reveals how the ladies try to increase the pool of eligible black men, which they do successfully - until the *mission* takes a different turn and then it's all downhill from there. Love,suspense, betrayal and all that good stuff is found in Shades. I'm not saying that because Chandra's my co-host either. Many esteemed people in the literary world and the Turning Pages Book Club in the Bay have given her book much praise. Chandra was the first author to be featured on my blog, AuthorsNFocus.
