Greetings Literary Showers is an annual celebration of African- American fiction held in the spring of each year. This year's theme is I'm Every Woman and it will feature the women of The Divine Literary Tour(authors who are members of the sororities of the National Pan-Hellenic Council). Our featured authors include LA Banks ,Victoria Christopher Murray ,Patricia Haley, Candice Dow , Toschia, Crystal Perkins-Stell, Rhonda Lawson,TJ Butler, Meisha Holmes,Monica Anderson ,Pat Tucker . Literary Showers IV will be held on Saturday May 6,2006 at the BWI Ramada in Hanover , Maryland. This beautiful event features a wonderful marketplace featuring Urban Knowledge Bookstore, Warm Spirit , Accessorize and more . The festivities start at 6 pm with Social Hour . Dinner will begin at 7 pm with a great program. Tickets are $ 50 person before April 15/ $ 60 after April 15. Tables of 9 will be $ 410 before April 15/ $ 500 after April 15. . On Sunday morning , there will be A Faith in Fiction Brunch held featuring Patricia Haley, Kendra Norman Bellamy, Tiffany Warren, Kimberly Brooks and Teressa Leath. The brunch will take at 9:30 am . The tickets for the brunch are $ 22 per person before April 15/ $ 26 after April 15. Hotel rooms can be reserved for the special rate of $ 89 a night if you mention the Girlfriends Reading Circle .
