Who will the shooter turn out to be?

Crazed black man.
Crazed white racist
Crazed student
Jilted lover of a student
Crazed middle easterner
Random gun nut job
Crazed fired employee

It can be so many these days!

Does truth ever play a part in your thought patterns, chrishayden?? Obviously not, because if you couldn't skew and warp and lie, you'd never have anything to say. But blabber on. Nothing you drool about makes a difference.

(Yep. Like when I tell you to use Charmin instead of them Sears Catalogues--that's what's got you so edgy!)

Re the shooting:

This is what I like about America--

If you think something horrible happened just wait, something even worse will come down the pike--

Don Imus, the rappers, and the hatemongers can breathe a sigh of relief, we have a massacre to divert us--

Now.

Let us hear y'all blame hip hop music for this one.
Blame the rappers.
I guess those college students are glad they aren't living in the ghetto and are on a college campus where violence never happens

I wonder if the shooter is a pissed off Imus fan?

Maybe America needs to look at it's constitutional stance on gun laws because, going by past incidents, giving America the right to possess guns is looking tantamount to giving the Al-Quaeda dynamite and telling them 'not to do anything stupid now...'

It would be interesting to see how other Americans view your country's stance on guns.

This shit is disturbing.

LOL....In Georgia, people are fighting for the right to hide the gun in their glove compartment or under the seat. As the law stands now, your gun must be on your dashboard in plain sight.

Colorado has a "make my day" law (basically, if someone on your property frightens you, you have the right to shoot them), and residents of other states are jealous.

You see, many in the UK would agree that you should be allowed to protect your home from intruders by any means possible.

But most agree that the U.S. position on gun laws is absurd. I know a guy who really loves the U.S. but says the gun laws stop him living there. I don't blame him.

I understand it would be extremely hard to revoke the law as it is immediately. But something must be done to stop this senseless murder of innocent people. It is just sad.

We just had the NRA convention here in St. Louis. It was the biggest convention ever held in St. Louis and the biggest turn out the NRA ever had.

Guns baby guns!

All the little lemmings using them on each other.

It's startling how he killed over 30 people with just 2 HANDGUNS. I mean, I can see if he was packing military guns (e.g., M16, AK47's, etc.).

That to me is amongst the most FRIGHTENING aspects about what occurred at Virginia Tech.

And, sadly, this could happen at almost ANY American college/university. It's really only by the grace of GOD it only happened once before (University of TX 40 years ago).

(He was a goodshootin' MF, wasn't he? Indicates he probably killed most of them up close with head shots.

Probably had some military or police training. There's millions of people who got that much firepower and thousands who probably got the--whatever you need to kill 30 people.

He kill any black folks?

Chris,

Dude mustah had some training. And some cajones for your a$$.

To bad he's not a GI over there in Iraq. They could more guys over there like that.

What said is in these situations if just a couple of foks, mostly dudes who were close enuff to'em, suddenly got brave enuff to take him down, probably over 20 other wouldn't have been killed.

Yeah. I know that's fantasy hero stuff.

This trigger-happy Korean student would seem to be a tragic example of one of the most dangerous creatures on earth; a man rejected by a woman. Hate to stoop to cliches, but Koreans seem to be very quirky people, ones that are easily riled, as evidenced by the saber-rattling dictator of North Korean, Kim Jong-il. All the security measures in the world cannot deter a vindictive person with a gun, a person who knows that suicide will be his final act of violence.

(Yeah they had her on NPR at the convocation she did a poem to steel the nerves of the survivors.

Lie on us, talk about us, scorn us and then when they need to be lifted up they come to us. It takes a black person every time.

She's good people. They also had Bush there. Made me nauseous to listen to him.

This whole incident makes me so sad, especially when you look at the pictures of the people who have died. They were so young and happy - their whole lives ahead of them.

Many of those who died had already given so much to the world, like the professor who bide time to save students from the killer.

This is why I don't watch the news. For some reason, when you've seen the picture of a murder victim, their energy attaches to you and you somewhat feel their fear and anger. It's almost like they're pleading for justice.

I don't mind pictures of the dead when they've died peacefully or through no one else's fault. But murder victims have an energy of fear that emanates from their belongings and their pictures and it attaches to everyone who looks on them in compassion.

I've been to many funerals in my life, and only two really upset me: one was killed in a crash, and the other was murdered. And you could feel their fear as soon as you entered the church.

That's what makes me nauseous.

They (these victims) don't all have the same energy, though.

Some are scared, some are really angry, some are peaceful and looking forward to whatever is next, some just want to look after their loved ones here and make sure they're OK, and some have already forgiven him and feel sorry for him that he felt that hateful.

I know that sounds weird, but seriously, you can feel a lot of energy from dead people just by looking at their pictures. Especially the ones who were killed really suddenly.
