I fear that black women will suffer serious backlash as a result of all of this. Why just yesterday afternoon I walked down the street in a prominent and affluent California neighborhood, and a 20-something white male halled off and called me "n*gga" to my face. His white female companion was just as shocked as I was. I can't help but to think that this verbal onslaught has something to do with the Imus debacle, although he didn't stick around to answer my question: "Imus, is that you?"
Let's protect our black daughters and not take the outcome of this Imus situation for granted. |

(The coward didn't hang around, I see, just like Imus. You should have memorized his face and gone back to look for him again, or got his license plate number and called in a complaint on him--say you saw him exposing himself or something--

This Imus situation just gives these "marginalized" middle class white men an excuse to say (and DO) what's really on their minds. That particular d*ck head looked as if he just finished a shift at the local Fatburger.
