Great new ad campaign (that has apparently been banned from TV) from Dove. Includes a couple of gorgeous older Black women. http://www.campaignforrealbeauty.com/

I think the Dove campaign is very very tasteful, and that beauty is not limited to only the young. A lot of women just get better with time. My aunt, who recently passed away at ninety, had fun and was beautiful right up to her passing... I hope that I am fortunate to be just like her!

The makers of Dove seem to be in the vangard of debunking myths. First they had an ad campaign show-casing "healthy-sized" women and now they are leading the way in the battle against ageism, something I can, of course, appreciate cuz age ain't nothin but a number. Owwwwwww! Hit me baby!

Cynique--> ::high five:: (In case your hand is still up LOL)

A_woman, I'd like to think it is not a coincidence that two of these lovely models were of African ancestry :-) I agree that the ad was tasteful. There is some discussion whether the "banning" is a publicity stunt by Dove. Who knows. Probably people are uncomfortable with images of nudity in older women. It is something that is usually played for laughs instead of asthetic or erotic value. (I'm thinking, for example, of that scene in some movie with Kathy Bates and Jack Nicholson...)

That your musty-crusty-dusty-dried-up-behind needs to use some Dove?
