I think she probably has good intentions, but unless she plans on operating an orphanage, as opposed to having a real family, she needs to chill out and familiarize herself with the people she currently has living in her home. Like her man for instance.

Some in the media have begun calling her "Womb Raider" after one of her well-known action flicks. Clever though somewhat crass. |

Her reps deny this story, saying Angelina has no immediate plans to adopt again. She does need to step back and take a look at this pseudo family she is trying to cobble together. In all of the tabloid pics of her children I have never seen the Ethiopian daughter smiling and her son Maddox always looks confused. |

The mother wants that baby back now. The mother left the child when a baby, her parents put in orphanage but the mother says they had no right to give the child to Jolie. ::sigh::

Everybody needs to leave Angelina alone -and her fione a$$ man, too. She has enough money. She makes sure the children are aware of their cultural backround. And she is in an obvious partnership with a man who has willingly committed to giving the children she's adopting his last name too (and they aren't even married --pretty amazing shyt as far as I'm concerned -she must have it like that, though -LMAO!). And I'm sure once the children are old enough to understand how phuckin' lucky they were to escape the conditions they were born into, I'm sure they'll have a sincere appreciation for their adoptive parents -and I'm sure their adoptive parents will support (financial and emotional) any desire they have to explore, and succeed, at any personal, professional and/or spiritual endeavor they choose.

right. let's have these abandoned children fend for themselves. i'm sure they understand that they are non-white, and because of that should not be given the opportunity to realize family structure, albeit, nontraditional.
i think it's crucial that we get a firm understanding of the numbers of abandoned children there are in the world. how many children are a grandparent away from being parentless. we are in a crisis. that jolie has adopted these children is calling attention to the need for adoptive parents.
black-skinned children in the US need good homes and parents who will guide and support and love them. black american women, we are doing better than ever financially, educationally, etc. why won't we consider adopting more? consider being a tutor or a 'Big Sister.' it is our duty to embrace these kids, they are our flesh and blood. instead with our successes we've become self-absorbed, elitist, weave-wearing prima-donnas. black women are the reason we've made it this far as a race. our foremothers must be turning in their graves. so sad.
never mind jolie and brad pock-mark pitt face, what are WE doing for our own?? if the answer is 'nada,' then i suggest we step aside and let the people who have the courage and the means to adopt these needy children do so. |
