Today, March 17th, is St Patrick's Day and although I have an Irish surname, I'm not inclined to relate to this holiday. Yes, Blacks do have Juneteeth and Kwaanza but I think we should have a more fun-loving day where we can go out and celebrate like the "Micks" do on St. Patty's Day, eating their traditional corned beef and cabbage, chuggin Guiness beer down at the Pub, decked out in with green, and crooning a chorus of "Danny Boy" while throwing darts at a board. We could have Bro Tyrone's Day, where everybody would wear red and eat collards and rib tips and drink Martel while singing a round of "respect", between slapping cards down on the table during a spirited game of bid-whist/spades. And then we could - , huh? What cha say? We already observe this type of holiday, only it's called Memorial Day or the 4th of July or Labor day. Oh. OK. Whatever. believe it or not- st. patrick was black man. our people inhabited ireland, england, scotland, germany, and other parts of europe in those times. the "holiday" of st. patrick, represents when st. patrick (a blackman) chased the "snakes" (white race) out of ireland. the drunkin white FOOLS who take such pride in this holiday, have no idea what they even "think" they are celebrating. the white race has "stolen" many of the great figures of history, portraying then as white men. most of the "great" figures you hear about in "european history" (richard the lion hearted, elizabeth I, etc) were BLACK people. there have been many books written that document the blackmans (and womans) presence in ancient europe. if the truth were told, the st. patricks "holiday" is actually the holiday of the blackman (not the africans, but our people in america, the west indies, and other parts of the world).  | ||

The "Luck of the Irish" is RIGHT!!! Even though the Irish did struggle when they first arrived here. They were able to manipulate their way into the larger White society. And be granted "White" status. The Irish were/are some of the most bigoted ppl in America. | ||

cynique, if you understand the way things went down in history, then you would understand why ireland is full of white people, and why there are no black leaders in ireland. the rebirth of the "white race in europe was called the "rennesance" (sp). prior to this time the white race was in a postion of servitude throughout europe. over time (because of internal warfare between the black rulers of europe), the white race began (through a series of wars) to take power in europe. louis the 14th of france was a blackman. napolean bonaparte was a white man, who lead an army of white against the last black king of france. once these black kings of europe were finally overthrown, the masses of "black people" who inhabited these countries were mostly executed or driven out of these lands. this is why ireland is "full" of white people, and has no "black leaders". all of the famous kings and queens of england were black people. the white race has erased the "black history" in europe, and replaced it with themselves. after whites took control over these parts of europe, they either killed off all of the black people dwelling there, or drove them out of these lands. for most of the "great history" of europe, the white race were either slaves or dwelling in mountains living like animals. all of the civilizations and "christian/catholic" history of europe belongs to black people. if you look at books with paintings from the "middle ages" in europe in your local library, you will see paintings of black people. of course the white man has tryed to hide or alter these icons. but they are there. if you look hard enough. | ||

What you are citing is revisionist history, Lil-Z. The Mogols and the Barbarians are the ones who brought about the fall of the Roman civilization and this eventually led to the Dark Ages. The ascension of the English monarch Elizabth I ushered in the Renassiance period and the black presence was not prominent in this era. For somebody who is so inured in blackness, Lil_Z why are you so color-struck???? | ||

well, cynique im not sure if you know it or not, but there are fair-skinned black people. so if i do have a preference for "fair skinned" women, what on earth does that have to do with my "pride" in our people? i guess in order to have "black pride", a male should only find females that look like alek (ugly) wek attractive. ok. | ||
