we are on the eve of the grand juries decision on whether or not to indicte the police officers that shot sean bell to death in queens (n.y) a couple of months ago.
the police here in nyc are stating that they are in the process of putting out a few thousand undercover and plain clothes police in "critical areas" (code word for black areas) in anticipation of a decision that the "public" (code word for black people) will disagree with.
the police here are saying that the are doing so to "protect citizen's" in the case of civill unrest.
im in new york, NOBODY (black) was talking about riots or anything like this in reaction to the decision about whether these officers will be indicted or not.
now the police come out saying they will be putting thousands of cops on the streets "just in case" something does happen.
it like the police are putting this idea out there for "black people" to chew on.
then, if these officers are not indicted, and there are thousands of white officers "posted up" in black areas, its almost like the police are setting up a scenerio, in which they "hope" black people will riot.
there was NO talk of riots by anyone at anytime, now all of a sudden (on the eve of whether these officers will face charges) its a matter of making preparations for "potential riots".
given the recent history regarding shootings in nyc, there is a good change these officers will not be indicted.
and even if they are, they still might "get off".
the whiteman (white powers that be) are really saying, "lets get ready in case these n*ggers get out of hand".
but they (the white powers that be) are also saying "lets put into the minds of these black people, that if the decision doesn't go their way, they can always riot as an option (possibility).
nobody was talking about riots, and now there will be thousands of police (mostly white) going in to (or near) black areas, "just in case".
it sounds like the police are setting up a situation where confrontation is very possible.
even though nobody said a word about confrontation, violence, or rioting.
