What he said to a roomfull of staff at a staff meeting was "Only poor people and n*ggas drink Kool-Aid"
This was a Medical Doctor and Director of the City's Health Dept.
And people wonder why I post the stuff I do.

Dr. William Kincaid
(KMOV) - William Kincaid is out as the St. Louis Health Director amid claims he used a racial slur.
Thursday, Kincaid resigned, effective immediately.
Allegedly, Dr. Kincaid put down both poor blacks and whites at a meeting last month with senior staffers.
Thursday, Mayor Francis Slay's office issued a two sentence statement saying Kincaid resigned.
No reason was given.
First Ward Alderman Charles Troupe says the mayor did not take any action until the Black Caucus called for Kincaid's resignation.

Were black people present when the Health Director used this slur? If not, he's just an executive version of Paris Hilton. He'll find another position and move on. |

Well.....that is true. But he shouldn't have said it......at least not to an open crowd of witnesses.

i didn't drink kool-aid because it would stay red on my face whilst my darker complected friends had no traces of sipping the divine ghetto nectar. during this ritual i would be teased and called period face by my older brother, thus making me have ..what you will call "much love" for lemon-aide.  |

I never got into Kool-Aid because it required too much sugar. To me it was just as easy and cheap to buy "pop" - or "soda" as some of you call it. |

cynique: faygo is just as cheap as kool-aide plus you get 10 cents back when you turn in the cans and bottles here. so if the guy who made that statement was from michigan he would've said faygo instead of koolaide |

I don't ramp - I love Kool Aid when I am out in the USA.
What is it with people in high positions that are so dense they don't even know how to hold their tongue? Do they think that they are so great that they can make such dumb comments and not have to face the consequences? |

We care.
During the administration of Freeman Bosley, the city's first black mayor, during the heat of an argument, Wale Amusa, a mayoral aid, used the term "white folks" when discussing a city issue--here the North side is black, the South Side is white--he was talking about the South Side and he was correct.
A firestorm of protest followed and he resigned a few days afterward.
Our current mayor, Francis Slay, who is white and who has created a lily white (South Side) administration in a city aver 50% black, was trying to keep this piece of sh*t on and had hushed up the incident--
This is what happens when you start talking all that "We can all get along" crap--
To those who saw nothing wrong with the comment, I suppose when you have grown used to taking it up the butt one more doesn't make any difference--
Perhaps, the next time you are in an emergency room, and a white doctor is trying to decide who to treat first and he somehow passes over you you will have an opportunity to think on how he feels about the subject-- |

You don't get it, do you? Here was not a gandy dancer. Here was not some ignorant yahoo locked away in the Appalachins somewhere.
Here was a Medical Doctor, one of the best of the best, educated, accomplished, who was serving as an official in a city over 50% black, who was standing up in front of black people and thought it was okay to say this.
This is a climate. This is something that has increased since they let those Texans crawl out of the swamp and poison Washington and the whole world.
I supppose, as beat down as you are, you can't connect the dots.
The next time you are going under the knife I hope you can peer into those blue eyes as you slip under the anesthetic, and be reassured.
You know how much they get for cadavers in the medical schools? |
