Subject: New Film "Constellation" - In Theaters Today

Can't see graphic? View here: http://www.wheredasaintsat.com/Constellation/index-2.html

CONSTELLATION portrays the spirit of the traditional Valentine, of love gained, lost and reclaimed. It is the Valentine we all carry with us, of our first love, of our most enduring love, of our ultimate love. It is also the Valentine, that for all the drama they can cause, we have for our families. It is also the love that exists among friends: This is a universal Valentine; it is not bound by race, generation or nationality.

CONSTELLATION chronicles the lives and loves of an African-American family in the Deep South as they are forced to come to terms with a tumultuous past marked by an unrequited interracial affair. The film explores the way in which the family patriarch, Helm Boxer (Billy Dee Williams), must confront his demons amidst the changing racial fabric of society and his own family.

This film explores the redemptive power of love and spotlights the importance of honesty and the bonds of family loyalty.

“I hope the audience for CONSTELLATION comes out feeling what Bear (David Clennon) and the other characters in the movie ultimately experience, which is that even if you have let it (love) slip away at anytime in your life, it is never too late to take a giant step back towards love. It is also one of our great shared journeys” says, Constellations Director Jordan Walker-Pearlman.

CONSTELLATION Opens TODAY and stars Gabrielle Union, Billy Dee Williams, Zoe Saldana, Hill Harper, Lesley Ann Warren, David Clennon, Rae Dawn Chong and Melissa DeSousa. The film was written and directed by Jordan Walker-Pearlman.

It sounds wholesome and heartwarming--

I HATE wholesome and heartwarming.

Why can't we have more "In Da Hood" pictures? At least "Dolemite" or something?

Hey, Dobes, have you made your trip to Chi-town yet? If you come here during the next week, you will freeze your n**s off. We are in the grips of a brutal cold snap. The wind-chill factor is about 10 degrees below zero. Sorry I couldn't come up with any more recommendations for your excursion. My daughters say all the down-town hot clubs are now being freqented by a bad element and hardly a week goes by without a shooting or a fight. But, as I mentioned before, if you venture into to the Bronzeville section of the city's south side, "Blue 47" located on 47th and King Drive is the place to check out.

Dobes: "...who is that fine ass white girl on the promotional cover"

That's the lovely and vivacious Leslie Ann Warren. Not bad for a White chick who's pushing 60, huh? I've had a boner going for Leslie Ann for about 25 years now.

Btw: We don't know how much of that promo pic has been Photoshopped.
