a soldier's story is not only the greatest "black film" of all time, it maybe the best film of all time-PERIOD.
a soldier's story puts most of the films on that list to SHAME.
hey i saw "city of god" (ciudade de deus) from brazil on that list.
it maybe the second best film (not just "black" film) ever.
but i thought that the "black people" in brazil were not actually black?
clearly im being sarcastic.
but, its interesting that a film from brazil with "black people" is included.
i say this because SOME posters here claim that the black people in brazil, are somehow different from blacks in america. |
